The Wave Pistol Model by JVB Surfboards. Moving with the energy of a wave is based on the appropriation, maintenance and management of this energy in the form of travel speed. It is a permanent interaction between the Wave, the Surfer and the Board. Most surfers don’t have World Class Waves every day, but can have an appropriate Board that allows them to reveal their level, make them progress and have a lot of fun on their daily spots. I’m no exception to this reality and as a Shaper, I designed the Wave Pistol with the same desire for speed, maneuverability and ease that all surfers look for in their sessions : Paddling comfort and efficiency, enter the wave early, go fast, turn easily… But with a Shortboard !!.. In the standard version, you will find the Wave Pistol in 5’7”, 5’10” and 6’2” which will respectively fill all sizes. I measure 1, 72 for 73kgs and I love surfing the 5’7” when the waves are knee-high to man-sized. With my Wave Pistol, I go very fast, I merge with the wave, I occupy and I give meaning to all the sections, I do not hesitate any more to plant hard my rail with the assured pleasure to resurface easily to maintain this Exchange.
