Having a feeling of speed without moving forward at all can happen! Demonstration by Jérôme who shares a session on a static wave downstream from an out of use lock. Equipped for this session with a GONG Surf Inflatable Shortboard that he chose for its buoyancy and robustness, he described a “simply magical moment on this atypical wave in the midst of swans and herons”.
