Protect yourself from heavy impacts thanks to the new GONG impact vest!

It is the essential accessory to cope with a bad wipe-out during a tow-in sesh or for all sports that involve speed on the water, wing foiling, kitesufing, windsurfing or wakeboarding. This Impact Vest can be worn over or under a harness according to your preference (but be aware of the extra thickness of its foam).

The 15mm foam panels provide a slight buoyancy while allowing you to duck dive under the waves without emerging like a cork and being swept away. So this isn’t a life jacket. Its purpose is mainly to better withstand the violence of a bad fall on the water or a hit of your board, while being very comfortable.

Its elaborate design made it possible to position the foam in strategic places. The way the dissipative panels are cut make for a vest that accompanies flexion and the various movements of the body. You really feel free to move. This Impact Vest is perfectly compatible with the GONG Leash Belt which can be positioned on the vest.

The openings for the arms are wide so as not to generate irritation if the Impact Vest goes up a little. And it doesn’t cover the top of the hips to keep your figure slim. The collar is also very open to avoid any discomfort. The side zip provides unequaled comfort of use because it does not cause the discomfort of a ventral zip when leaning forward.

The 2mm neoprene of this jacket brings you a considerable added warmth. You can lower the thickness of your wetsuit by a good millimeter, or simply ride with this vest and boardshorts when it’s hot.
