NEWS: THE YPRA-S IN A NEW SIZE!
The world champion front wing in Surf-Freestyle, Surf-Freestyle U-16, Race U-19 and Big Air is now available in a new MS size!
This is a request coming straight from our Pro team to which we give you access in our foil range. The shape of this intermediate size MS, between the Ypra-S S and the Ypra-S M, is identical to that which has allowed our team riders to achieve numerous successes on the wing foil world tour. A front wing that unleashes insane performance with a balance that makes it very versatile. Its glide and pop take you skyhigh in freestyle, its rail-to-rail is radical in surfing and in slalom mode it combines speed and control to smoke the entire field.
A front wing that offers experienced foilers a sensational glide that’s like no other in the range. The Ypra-S also stands out for its success among you because it is far from being elitist. Though it’s a high performance front wing, it’s very predictable and sound. It was therefore only logical to make you all benefit from this new size.
The dimensions of the Ypra-S MS
The Ypra-S MS has a wingspan of 75 cm, develops a surface of 700 cm2 and displays 1,05 cm of thickness for a volume of 0,36L.
Tow-in and wing foiling
The Ypra-S in size MS is primarily meant for wing foiling or tow-in prone foiling :
- In prone foiling, it is a small front wing, very reactive yet stable, that can be suitable for pros of an average size. What you’re looking for: maximum speed and big carves with stability in tow-in.
- In wing foiling, it is small but perfect for an average sized rider who wants to fly at high speeds or for a lightweight who wants to do freestyle and surfing.
But there is a size for all tastes and body weights in the Ypra-S range : XS in 460 cm2, the S in 610 cm2, the MS in 700 cm2, the M in 785 cm2, the L in 1000 cm2 and the XL in 1250cm2. In kite foiling the Ypra-S XS and S are great. The larger sizes L and XL offer incredible glide in surf foiling and allow you to fly full speed in lighter conditions in wing foiling. The choice is yours! 😉
