NEWS : THE NEW FSP 2X & WOOD 2X WING BOARDS!

Last week we introduced the new FSP Pro 2023 wing boards. Today we release the new WOOD 2X and FSP 2X ranges dedicated to progression, versatility and the first flights on wing foiling gear!

In 2023, the WOOD 2X and FSP 2X wing boards greatly benefit from the evolutions of our Pro models:

A narrower shape for the Lance which gains in glide without losing either its stability which facilitates the beginnings, nor its compactness which allows fast progression in maneuvers.

The Lance comes in a new size for kids, teens and lightweight beginners. The new family board that you can share with friends and on which you can do your first aerial tricks.

Entirely new equipment (identical to the FSP Pro models!), including double entry boxes compatible with the SCS system to mount your foil in no time!

A Pro model available in FSP 2X construction to widen its access. This model is the new shape of the Mint. The next level board for intermediate wing foilers looking for more glide and performance.

A Lance with more glide!

Crucial for takeoffs and relaunches, the glide of the Lance is boosted by a slightly reduced width. There are no two ways about it, to fly, you need speed. So that this improvement does not come at the expense of stability, a lot of work has been done on the rails, which are now more vertical. This results in:

A narrower outline for more glide and facilitate take off;
A larger edge-to-edge hull width (despite the narrower outline) which offers lift and glide;
Less roll than with heavily beveled rails, therefore allowing more preflight stability.

The versatile Zuma and Mob2Taste

The Zuma is the queen of preflight glide for ultra-smooth take-offs when wing foiling and efficient paddling for SUP foiling take-offs! It owes its excellent glide to its slightly elongated shape, with a relaxed rocker and a round point nose that pushes very little water. Its relative length, the double concave under the nose and the ADS fin (Anti Drift Solution), guide the board on a line for controlled takeoffs.

The Mob2Taste is the most versatile board of the range thanks to its set-up options (foil or quad) which allow you to practice SUP, wing foiling and SUP foiling. Take advantage of varied conditions, on easy and all-terrain equipment, without having to travel with 3 boards!

The Mint in FSP 2X techno!

With its more slender shape in 2023 and its comfortable nose, the Mint is now available in FSP Pro and FSP 2X techno and offers exceptional versatility. The Mint sits halfway between a Flint which is a hit in the light wind and a Lemon which is great in wave riding.

It is the board to reach for new limits in wing foiling: tricks, jumps and carves. In particular thanks to its rapid take-off which boosts your progression. As you no longer fear difficult take offs, you try more and more 😉

New equipment and design

The 2023 range of our wing boards features a new sleek design, based on the finishes implemented in the workshop on our custom boards. A transposition from the workshop to production boards which also concerns the construction of our wing boards. Indeed, the entire range benefits from the advantages of the full sandwich construction which has been a standard at GONG for years.

The equipment is completely renewed on the 2023 boards:

New reinforced GONG boxes to send big and new double entry rails that allows you to use our SCS system and save precious time during assembly!
New more ergonomic GONG handle that offers a better grip.
New stratification of the leash plug with a polished finish and absolute solidity.
New sets of GONG footstraps, more ergonomic and more comfortable. In single version at the back and in V shape at the front for an ultra-balanced stance.
New hard brush pad (except for the Mob2Taste) that allows for more thickness on the entire board for absolute comfort.
