NEWS: NOVELTIES ON OUR KITES !!!

Discover all the novelties of our kite range! While retaining the characteristics that make them references, the Strutless is experiencing a revolution and the performances of the Unik and the Freewave are rising. Among these developments you benefit from a reduction in the price of all our kites!
Price reduction
We decided to reduce our margins on our kites in order to boost the practice. Indeed, wing foiling takes up a lot of space in people’s minds and in factories. However, it would be a mistake to deprive yourself of the pleasure and fantastic performance of kitesurfing. Significantly lowering prices as costs rise is a message of encouragement for the practice of kitesurfing. Today evolutions on kites are no longer visible revolutions. Yet the details sometimes count more than the big ideas. Details are the basis of reliability, good feeling, precise handling. So nothing looks more like a kite than another kite without its decoration. And despite this, the differences between two kites are considerable, if only in our own range. Telling you that R&D costs are immense in kitesurfing is a false truth. Yes, efforts are important because seeking micro-evolution is a job that takes time and calls for highly specialized profiles. But the bulk of the R&D on a kite was done and validated over ten years ago. This is what we are doing today with wing foiling and it’s also a huge expense. So yes the Dacron increases by 45% on certain colors, yes the factories are overwhelmed with workload, yes we have sold 30% more kites in 2020, and yes we are lowering the price of our kites to encourage you to discover that our innovations have real results on the water.
New features on our kites
The sizing of the entire range has been revised to provide the perfect, well-balanced quiver that will allow you to cover all conditions. Each kite also benefits from its own improvements:
The STRUTLESS
-
- 3 fiberglass battens against one on the previous version in order to maintain the profile at high speed. Maximum stability in high range, and incredible performance upwind and high speed; while retaining all the lightness of a strutless kite. Better still, they facilitate relaunching.
- The wing ratio becomes scalable according to the sizes to adapt the behavior of each surface to its favorite wind range. The larger sizes benefit from a very high ratio to optimize heading and Vmax in light conditions. Smaller sizes have a reduced ratio to boost handling on more choppy waters and therefore more playful. The ratios are between 3.8 for the smallest size and 6 for the largest (a classic wing is between 4.2 and 4.5).
- The tip angle is raised to almost 90 ° for squarer ears. The kite is much more manoeuvrable, especially in drifting, lightwind and kiteloops.
- The leading edge ends are now tapered to improve airflow.
The UNIK
- The tip angle is raised to almost 90 ° for squarer ears. The kite is much more manoeuvrable, especially in drifting, light and kiteloops.
- Increased diameter of the leading edge at the tips for more rigidity in big turns. Steering is more straightforward and responsive.
- The leading edge ends are now tapered to improve airflow.
The FREEWAVE
- Mini battens are added on the trailing edge near the tips to prevent flapping when the kite rotates.
- Slight increase in the ratio on all sizes and in the same proportions (4.37 on the previous version compared to 4.5 today). This increase in ratio provides control in high range, better lift in jumps, and more Vmax.
- The leading edge ends are now tapered to improve airflow.
