NEWS: NEW KITE BAR !!!

Discover the latest features on our new kite bar! We have specially worked on optimizing durability, safety and comfort so that you can fully enjoy your sessions.

Durability

Durability is guaranteed primarily by quality elements. Our lines are in Dutch Dyneema of 425kg DHPS quality with very low elongation (0.1%) which also ensures a very lively character to your kite. The de-power and the trim, also in Dutch Dyneema, have a resistance of 1800kg.

The first factors of wear on a kite bar are friction at the de-power/trim when sailing or on the safety system. To prevent this wear, a reinforced sheath surrounds the safety line and the safety system is attached directly to the trim system which eliminates the friction on the stainless steel ring of the previous model.

Security

On this new model, we use the new AKA3 quick release which is approved by the AFNOR NF S-52 503 standard (front release system among others) and ISO 21853. The quick release is very simple to release and to re-engage, on land and in the water. The central hole of our new bar has been widened to guarantee the passage of the front lines and its various connections and thus to get to safety instantly in a situation requiring release and rearming.

The back lines start with 2m of pre-lines which will save your fingers in the event of panic on relaunch or in the waves, avoiding you to take the cutting lines in your hands by mistake.

Comfort

The AKA 3 untwisting device which now equips our kite bar is overmolded to absorb shocks with the bar. In addition, it untwists the fronts very easily under load with little effort thanks to its new ball bearing system.

This bar is compatible with most kites on the market thanks to 4 identical lines (bar sheeted in, trim released) and the presence of both a loop to make a lark’s head knot and a knot on each line (if the lark’s head knot is made on the bridle side).

The bar is available in 49 cm wide with 22 m lines or in 69 cm wide with 27m lines to increase the maneuverability of the bigger kites (from 14m²).
