NEWS: MAX ROBINSON JOINS GONG!

The Canadian Max Robinson joins GONG where he will occupy a double function; one as a team rider alongside our world champions, and another as responsible for the (e)reputation of the GONG brand on the global market, within the Marketing & Communication team.

Originally from Toronto where he discovered boardsports through windsurfing and snowboarding, Max got hooked on wing foiling in the early days of the sport and progressed very quickly. He’s been present on the world tour since its debut where he’s a solid force to be reckoned with, both in Surf-Freestyle and in Surf-Slalom. Don’t be fooled by his wide smile ;), he’s a fierce competitor with a strong experience. At the highly competitive European championship, he ranked among the best with a 5th place in Surf-Freestyle.

Now a full-time athlete at GONG, he is aiming for new goals on the tour, the season of which will be in full swing this summer with major events. He will be present in Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura in Surf-Freestyle and Freefly-Slalom with the new quiver he took possession of at the GONG Space Center.

In addition to his role as a team rider, he will also hold a strategic position at GONG, since he will be responsible for the image of the GONG brand on a global scale, particularly in the North American market where he is from. His role ? Represent and embody the brand by conveying our values and our vision around the world through videos, tech talks, how to’s, various communications…

Rich in both his knowledge of our sports at a level of excellence, with an international posture, this true sportsman now takes on a key role in helping us to offer you content at the forefront of international trends, always more qualitative and close to your expectations.

Max crossed the Atlantic to come and settle 2km from the GONG Space Center in order to evolve as close as possible to our teams, follow our physical coach and train with his team mates. He displays a level of motivation and enthusiasm that matches his ambitions! We wish him to thrive at maaax potential in this new adventure.
