NEWS: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S SPORT DAY

On this International Women’s Sport Day, we are proud to highlight our incredible team riders, as well as all the women who play an essential role in the development of our sports.

At GONG, we showcase our female athletes every day. You can follow their daily adventures in our Magazine and on our social media channels. However, today is a special occasion to celebrate and thank them for what they represent. Whether on the water, in our offices, at the shop, or in the workshop, they embody perseverance and the values that unite us.

Spotlight on our heroes of the day and every day:

Evelin

Evelin has a genuine passion for longboarding, evident in her now iconic smile. Sport and Evelin, it’s an ongoing story. Whether in competition or at her home spot, as long as she’s in the water. Sport and the ocean are inseparable for her. Discover all the updates on Evelin in our Magazine or on her account @evelinneves.

  Pamella

Pamella joined the GONG team a few months ago. Her wing practice and her perspective on our sports are everything we want to show everyone: good vibes only. We even paid her a visit in Brazil in November, where she guided us around, introducing us to her home spots. To relive those moments in pictures, click here.

  Melissa

Melissa is simply ultra-passionate about surfing, surf foiling, SUP, SUP foiling, wingfoiling… any opportunity to get in the water is a good one for her. She lives in Pornichet, just a stone’s throw from the GONG Space Center, where she goes every day. In addition to being a Team Rider at GONG, she also plays a key role in content production and organizing photo shoots. Follow her in our Mag and on @WahineWai.

    Lilou

Lilou has been an iconic figure for GONG for many years. Always ready for a SUP session and more recently in winging, whether in her native Brittany or in the Caribbean. She finds in the practice of our sports what she seeks: Happiness, fun, and a connection to nature. Follow her in our Magazine and on her account @liloudouzal.

  Hina

  Kim

Passionate about SUP, Kim constantly shares breathtaking content captured in fabulous locations in the Canaries. With Kim, we share a love for SUP, nature, and animals. Follow her stories on @kimarbe.

Malia

Malia is the future! Constrained by socio-cultural barriers, young female athletes may have had difficulties in the past finding their place in our sports. Fortunately, codes have changed, and Malia doesn’t question for a second whether SUP is accessible to her. She simply takes her paddle and gets in the water. This is how we want to see the future on the water. Follow Malia’s adventures in our Magazine.

Ingrid

Incredible courage and passion, whether crossing the Canal du Midi, exploring the Lofoten, traveling up the Amazon to meet isolated tribes, or embarking on an expedition to the heart of Greenland, Ingrid is the modern-day adventurer.

Her passion is SUP expeditions, especially to destinations off the beaten path. Taking 5 people in the footsteps of her first adventure in Greenland, where she covered over 400km autonomously, Ingrid once again demonstrates what can be achieved in sports. Discover in this article how she prepared for this extraordinary expedition.

  Diane

Diane is not only a passionate and avid athlete on all our equipment, but she is also the Chief Operating Officer at GONG. This gives her a strategic role, especially in the development of the products we put under your feet, contributing to advancing our sports through cutting-edge innovations.

    Jeanne

The role of women in sports also extends behind the scenes. Like Jeanne, who works closely with our products in the GONG Factory workshop. Every day, she puts her expertise at the service of our sports and passions.

From the workshop to the offices, and through our ambassadors, every woman at GONG plays a crucial role in building a stronger and more inclusive future for our universe, inspiring generations of women to follow their dreams.

Thank you to these exceptional women and all the others who contribute to the evolution of GONG, our community, and more abroad to the development of our sports. Noemi, Morgane, Valerie, Diane, Jeanne, Marine, Marion, Ysoline, Jennifer, Melissa, Emilie, Naomie, Elise, Coline, Clothilde, Annabelle, Laury, Sophie, Segolene, Julie, Mathilde, Sterenn… and all the others 😉

Happy International Women’s Sport Day!
