NEWS: AN IMPERATRICE IN THE WAVES!
The Imperatrice enters our range of surfboards with retro fish lines to surf as short as possible with style and speed in everyday waves!
The goal of this new shape is pretty clear, surf legendary lines that make ordinary conditions so much fun. The pleasure of a session with the Imperatrice lies as much in its unique behavior, old school and stylish turns, as in its modern character with a lot of drive, speed and fluidity.
The Imperatrice develops a familiar shape with this pure retro fish outline. A nice wide surface under the front foot that offers exceptional paddling comfort. It’s very easy to take off in weak waves thanks to a very relaxed rocker.
This volume on the front of the board disappears towards the tail to make way for very thin rails, making the handling very precise and the drive magical.
A retro fish shape
Just like the Pie, the Imperatrice has a fish shape and a twin fin Keel set-up, which is typically the board you want for blistering accelerations and short turns. While the slightly more slender shape of the Pie will allow it to perform on bigger waves, it is in the low end, in small and sloppy waves, that the Imperatrice reveals all its character by having more drive, generating speed with even more ease. The Imperatrice will be the board for a good surfer who seeks uncompromising excellence in a retro fish style.
Two constructions :
The Imperatrice is available in two high-end technologies:- The Imperatrice EPS: A light, ultra dynamic and solid construction in 66464. That is to say, 2 layers of fiberglass with 6oz density and another of 4oz for the deck and a layer of 6oz plus a 4oz layer on the hull. The insurance of sessions without unpleasant surprises!
- The Imperatrice Origin 2.0: The Origin 2.0 techno combines solidity, performance and polished glossy finish. This modern composite sandwich that combines wood and carbon on an EPS foam blank is just sublime. The vacuum glued wood strengthens the board against knocks, dents and breakage. The carbon belt creates an outer double batten that provides incredible responsiveness.
