Step on the gas in sloppy conditions with the Mob, the all-terrain shape of the range that shines with its ability to accelerate on flat sections and to pivot on the spot!

This shape is all about dynamism and drive. A delight in imperfect conditions for SUPers of all levels because this compact shape is made available in two different versions in its FSP Pro construction, the Cool for extra comfort and the Rad to radicalize your turns at will.

In FSP 2X construction, it is only available in the Cool version with its slightly more generous dimensions in width and volume for total accessibility.

Evolutions of the tail, nose and outline! Among other things!

In 2022, the shape of the Mob was completely revisited by L’Ours to make it livelier under your feet. The new swallow tail brings radicalism to the surf without compromising on control. It gives strong support on one rail and the other, while freeing up the tail when you want to pull up the board on a top turn, or tighten the turns. This is because the excess water pressure can escape into the V of the swallow tail while letting the tips guide the trajectory.

The new round nose is less bulky, especially in downhill curves. The less surface area allows the front third to be lightened: the radicalism progresses strongly and the feeling of liveliness is crazy.

The outline of the board is more compact, with a range of sizes less spread out over the lengths. The boards are all small boards, even in large volumes. Maximum Performance!

Converting comfort in radicality

To perform radical actions on a shortSUP, you have to be sure-footed on a board that is sufficiently stable, efficient at take off and able to turn on the spot.

To be on your A-game when surfing, you need to be in full control of your equipment. An overly technical board can be quite weary too. The Mob develops a shape whose accessibility and comfort are the source of the most radical intentions.

Radicality is accessible to everyone provided you choose the Mob in a size that suits you. The compact shape of the Mob is very stable, reactive and drivy, the Cool version offers that little extra comfort and stability that will make the difference to being completely comfortable, the Rad version is narrower and therefore faster and more lively.

The choice for the one or the other is essentially dictated by your SUP experience. If you come from longSUPs, the Mob Cool will be the best choice. If you’re looking to complement your shortSUP with a board for onshore conditions, go for the Mob Rad.
