NEWS: A EUROPEAN VICE-CHAMPION AT THE SHOP!

Big up to Mathieu, our colleague who advises you at the GONG Space Center, for his title of European skimboard vice-champion obtained at La Tranche-sur-mer at the end of September!

Mathieu is a force to be reckoned with on skimboard events at the French national level where he often shares honors with Béryl, our team rider, glasser and reigning French skimboard champion. In this European event, Mathieu was in top form, posting the best wave scores of the entire event, including a perfect score for the sequence of a shove-it 360 and a bigspin. A nose ride that he held over a stunning distance in the semi-finals also earned him a massive score in the high nines..

For having finished second in a heat won by his good pal Mathieu in the earlier stages of the event, Béryl, had to face the future champion of the event in a quarter that was a final before the hour. A duel that he loses for only one point, which ranks him fifth in the event. Congratulations again to this team of champions! 🙂
