GEAR: A PAD CUTOUT THAT OWES NOTHING TO CHANCE!

The incurved part on our pads at the level of the rails of our wing boards is not the result of aesthetic research but has a practical purpose. Any idea? 🙂

You’ll have noticed that the easiest way to get back on a wing board is to do it from the side by sliding your belly on the rail in the way an otter would, with both hands on the deck. This cutout that we apply to all our wing boards has the function of protecting your pad from repeated friction with your wetsuit, boardshort or leash belt when climbing onto the board. A board with a pad whose cut simply follows the rail will sooner or later be affected by a detachment of the pad at this critical point. This part must be clear of a handle, an extra thickness of the pad or a ledge because it is your entrance to the board.

Our boards are a sum of details like this that guarantee you an experience on the water where only sensations and pleasure have a place. They are developed by a team of passionate experts who only adopt total solutions. Pay attention to detail on your next purchase. We give you all the reading keys to guide your choice on our ultra-detailed product description sheets!
