The Batmob is the perfect entry to shortboards before switching to a pure shortboard because it is easy to paddle, tolerant on the take offs and generates speed on demand!

Its shape spares you the classic trap of shortboards that are too difficult to use when you lack experience, or when you can’t keep up your paddling fitness by lack of practice. Paddling is easy on the Batmob as are the take offs, allowing you early take offs so as not to let the wave peel off without you.

On the wave, its atypical hull allows strong acceleration because it is very planing, which translates into proper turns with speed, helped by its V hull which boosts the rail to rail.

This combo makes it particularly effective in imperfect or less powerful waves, with the impression of always having power to spare, while never feeling any bulkiness.

Its shortboard outline combined with its twin diamond tail allow you to produce a more aggressive surf. The Batmob behaves like a proper shortboard on which an experienced surfer will find all his bearings quickly and appreciate the ease with which he can score in sloppy conditions.
