First one out of the GONG Space Center with a brand new 2023 wing in his hands, Antoine shares his feelings after his first session.

“The Neutra 4.5 replaces my Neutra V2 4m. Barely larger than the 4. On the other hand, what rigidity!! Unbelievable ! So the pumping is certainly different. It took me a while to take off on my first way out, whereas I think I would have taken off straight away with the V2. But after two or three attempts, I managed to take off and no more worries. You just have to get used to it. I did as with a high aspect foil, i.e. let the board slide a bit more and bear off a bit more too. Once in the air the change is even more radical.

It’s super dynamic!! We feel the wing literally pulling us forward.

It’s impressive. And the power of this wing is crazy! My old record was 19.5 knots with a Fluid L-H and the Neutra 4m V2 and 17.5 with the Curve L-T. I now reached 19.8 knots with the Curve L-T!!! It accelerates so much, I can’t even imagine the Pulse 2023! As a result, my Curve often took me out with such speed.

My opinion is clear: it pushes much harder and it advances much faster with a better heading. These are clearly wings made for H foils! And so much the better, it will go perfectly with my Veloce L-H. Only downside is the rear handle, I’m not a fan of how it feels. That being said, a single handle at the back is much more practical!

The bags are great too! The mountings for the pump are excellent. In short, great progress! Thank you GONG for the express delivery this afternoon to the shop and happy to have been the first to leave the shop with a 2023 wing.”
