GEAR: THE SPOON OF THE NFA
The “spoon” on a SUP or a longboard is a concave placed under the nose whose shape evokes the hollow of a spoon. Its purpose is to give lift and grip to the nose during a noseride.
The NFA’s spoon plays a key role in carrying, lightening and stabilizing during nose rides. The water flows are concentrated by the spoon for a more intuitive piloting from the nose.
