Passionate about restaurants and looking for a unique opportunity in a unique environment, both very dynamic and original? The Slab restaurant, located in the heart of the largest surf shop in Europe, is recruiting a Head Waiter to join our team during the day.

Job Description:

As Chef de Rang / Head Waiter at The Slab restaurant, you will play an essential role in welcoming and serving our customers. Your mission will be to ensure a memorable experience by providing attentive and warm service.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Greet and install customers with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Present the menu and advise customers on dishes and drinks.
  • Take orders with precision and ensure their smooth running in coordination with the kitchen team.
  • Serve food and drinks in an elegant and neat manner.
  • Respond to customer needs and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverages to be able to provide information to customers.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team and other staff members to provide smooth and coordinated service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and set up of tables, as well as restaurant space.

Required profile :

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The required qualifications are as follows:
  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or Head Waiter in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Positive, dynamic and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Knowledge of the basics of cooking and serving techniques.
  • Schedule flexibility to work during the day, Saturdays and holidays.
  • Proficiency in French, proficiency in English would be a plus.
