HOW TO : off the lip by Mika !!!

The goal is to hit the lip, quite under the lip, as vertical as possible. It is different from a roller because you have to spin/revolte on the lip.
Keys are:
– a good speed to be able to make a large bottom turn in order to create the most vertical line to the lip.
– not being in advance on the wave. Doing this move on the shoulder is not possible. You must have or be close to have white water on your feet during the bottom turn.
– push in excess on your back foot when you hit the lip, like if you want to push the tail behind the wave and put the middle of the board on the lip.
– always keep in your mind that you must HIT the lip, not visit it…
– always show the bottom of your board to the lip to increase the impact. Not the rail.
