HIPE’s technology, our inflatable wing foil boards, have revolutionized the practice of foiling thanks to a unique construction made by GONG.

The development of the HIPE started from a simple assessment: how do you combine the convenience of an inflatable and the performance of a rigid board? All of this allows you to have a board easy to store, to travel with, and most importantly, safe and durable.

Every foiler knows it, a board that’s perfectly reactive to your movements is essential. There’s nothing better than a rigid carbon plate to ideally respond to all the foiler’s intentions. Paired to an inflatable board that ensures floating, it’s the idea that gave birth to the HIPE, this unique concept we invented.

We often have been imitated (the proof that this system works and pleases…), we keep on bringing new evolutions while preserving the original concept. Our three boards (HIPE First, HIPE and HIPE Pro) meet the needs of beginners and experts alike.

• The HIPE First perfectly adjusts to beginners. It’s a board with a generous body and dimensions that stays light, so it’s easy to handle. So, we chose to use only one layer on the deck and on the hull, by doubling the ones on the rails. The ICS plate is made of fiberglass and carbon fibers. That choice allows it to severely decrease the board’s weight, while maintaining maximum rigidity and solidity. That’s also why we can offer this bargain price.

• The HIPE offers a variety of choices that fits every size of rider and all levels. Offered in a thermo-welded double layer construction and woven dropstitch, this structure is what is best all around the world for inflatable boards. The ICS full carbon plate (more than a hundred layers!) allows it to be extremely reactive to the rider’s movements. Also equipped with footstrap insert, this model is the best to progress.

• The HIPE Pro keeps the same techno and equipment than the HIPE, but with a reworked outline, and dimensions meeting the needs of demanding riders. Inertia is reduced once again and the feel of having a rigid board under the feet is impressive. If your program is mainly made of wave riding or of freestyling, it will be perfect for you.
