GEAR : GONG Kite V1 or V2 !!!

What is the difference between the V1 & V2 Kites? The Tejin High Quality SPI that is used.
The V1 has been built with a Simple Rip Stop (Single Thread reinforcement) : Light, Easy and Economical.
The V2 come in Double Rip Stop (Double Thread reinforcement) : More rigidity hence high strung in lower wind ranges and more stability in higher wind ranges.
This gained rigidity is very evident especially on the V2 Strutless : A feeling that is close to a strutted kite. And the solidity in question on the V2 makes them much more resistant to tearing and the deformation that comes with age.
For us, being at the pinnacle of technology means building Kites with the best materials, but only after they have been quality validated with time so we are certain of their benefits to the client. At the house of GONG we do not use our clients as test subjects to appear innovative!!
