Same construction, same feeling of freedom, new look. The Droid Light and Neutra Light are now available in Purple and Sapphire Blue, two colors that highlight their minimalist design and uncompromising performance.

Less weight, more responsiveness

With a construction that is approximately 25% lighter, the Aramid Light wings immediately transform the feeling on the water. The wing feels weightless in your hands, turns with less effort, and repositions itself faster during transitions and tricks.

The difference also shows on the scales: a bare 2 m² Neutra Light weighs in at under one kilogram just 999 grams while a 4.5 m² weighs barely 1.5 kg. On a 6 m² Droid Light, the weight saving exceeds 800 grams compared with a Droid Aramid X.

Impressive figures, but the benefits are best felt from the very first meters:

less inertia in your arms;
more efficient pumping;
earlier takeoff;
greater stability in lulls;
smoother transitions;
much more natural freeflying;
less fatigue during long sessions.

In larger sizes, the difference is even more noticeable. A 5.5 m² Light weighs almost the same as a standard 4.5 m²: you get the power needed for an early takeoff without the usual inertia and bulk of a large wing.

A construction focused on the essentials

Aramid Light technology is based on targeted weight reduction: 55 g canopy, simplified leading edge, three-section center strut, lightweight 0.06 mm bladders, and no One Pump system or leading-edge zipper.

Important: fewer sections do not make them less durable, as each section has the same number of seams. These are not disposable wings! Malo proves it in the waves.

However, abrasion reinforcements are concentrated in essential areas, based on the assumption that users are experienced riders who know how to handle them carefully on land.

Every gram retained therefore contributes to in-flight performance. The result is a highly responsive, intuitive wing that reacts directly to the rider’s input.

The benefits continue on land. Lighter and less bulky, the Light wings make launching, carrying, and traveling easier. With the Clip-In V3 boom removed, they take up minimal space in your board bag.
