“Hello,
The Carver Shape is very stable at high speeds, It will calm the Board down without constricting it in the turns, you’ll simply just have less pivot.
The Reactors are stubby and thick, relatively straight, which is the opposite of the Carver. So they’re the ideal Fins for blasting out waves at low speeds. For clarity, once you’re in waves that you need to pump to get it on, they are perfect.
The Performer and the Accelerator are between the aforementioned Fins, the Performer are closer to the Carver (being very maneuverable and all-around) and the Accelerators closer to the Reactors (being faster and efficient on no matter what type of Board). We could classify them as such : Carver – Performer – Accelerator – Reactor Control —————————– Explosive Speed —————————- Acceleration Long Curves —————————- Pivot Medium Waves —————— Small Waves I must remind you of the enormous advantage of the FCS II Fins with which they can be dismantled in seconds. If you have 2 Boards, you economize the purchase of one set of Fins for both and the space they take up on a Board. It’s magic. I have yet to lose a Fin when Surfing, SUP or even Kite, Never. Malo has lost one, two or three clients as well. Of the thousand of FCS II Fins sold today that becomes extremely marginal. And they would have most likely snapped if they were FCS I. I have only positive feedback on these Fins. Thanks” Advisor : Patrice Guénolé et GONG Surfboards.
