This little extra indulgence that a Ypra S has over a Ypra allows an intermediate level wing foiler to quickly be comfortable on this high aspect front wing, even on a size M of 800cm² for 80kg as we can read in this testimony.

The take off was super easy (as with a Veloce L-H, or even better, at 20 knots with less than 800cm² I never thought I would get going that easily with a 4m…). Then a super locked glide, very healthy, it’s fast which almost makes you believe that you are kitefoiling without a kite ?.

It turns on the spot.

It flies well in the lulls, it surfs, it responds to pumping (a little less than the 950 cm² Veloce LH) but it’s super reactive. In short, very fun ?. Well it accelerates very strongly, without limit or saturation, which means that a beginner will not be at ease…

In short, it’s a great progress and with such a combo, I’ll keep my buddies in my rear view mirrors. I can’t wait to test it on a nice swell to see if it will be the ultimate front wing ?. Congrats for the development!”
