Feedback from Yohann who tested the high aspect of the Veloce XL-H in a surf foiling sesh.

“Today, first surf foiling session on the Veloce XL-H (Veloce H 44 Pro Stab, I weigh 93kg). Complicated conditions for take off and pumping with a lot of water moving, waves crossing in all directions and a slight wind. A size and a power that I rarely surf foil in.

“I accelerate very hard in the turns.”

The beginnings were complicated and then it all came together wave after wave: wow, I really feel like a fighter plane: the feeling of going really fast, I don’t turn so tight that’s all but I take g-force and I accelerate very hard in the turns: the limit is clearly myself for the moment. It’s also going fast because I’m as confident as ever, certainly a little exaggeratedly by the way. Pumping back up to the peak is pretty easy as long as I don’t try to go into the wind.

At the take off it accepts really steep slopes.

I dropped on waves that would have just been a guaranteed wipe-out with the Veloce XL-T / Fluid 40. I still had two flights out of balance and there it was a little weird to find myself upside down, above the wave and the leash stretched towards the board which is still flying: yes I had excesses of confidence. ?

All that to say that I came out of the session completely euphoric and with my thighs on fire.”
