FEEDBACK: SUPERPOWER 6M

Aurélien tested the SuperPower 6m² from our 2023 range of wings. Here he shares his feedback after a session on Lake Geneva.

“A little feedback about the SuperPower 2023 6m² and the Veloce XL. I was waiting for a few sessions before writing down a short feedback. Let’s say this is the review of an average Joe…
Conditions: 10 kts? A few gusts at 12 kts. Gusts were very rare though. 0 whitecaps. ?️: 70 kg ? : HIPE 5’3 V1 Stab: X-Over for the wheelbase (stability to overcome the pitch).
Navigation: Pumping / Take-off: different technique than with the V2. You have to get the hang of it. Pumping down with the legs facilitates the movement. Cruising: super balanced in the harness, silent, flawless. Handles: the finger shapes inside the handle are great . Jibe: On my first attempt I missed the back handle (a few cm further?). The following ones: no more problem. Impressions: Stiffness, feeling of being able to hold it high in the wind range, motionless hollow. 11 kts average, some peaks at 15 kts without ever feeling tension in the arms. I opted for this wing so that it accompanies me when I’m riding with the Ypra. Overpowered at takeoff for my high aspect foil and high range tolerance. Current quiver: Pulse 4m², SP 6m² 2023, SP 7.5m² V2. Wind too unstable to judge upwind. But it looks great!”
