Pierre, GONG ambassador, who has recently finished 3rd in the SUP Surfing championship gives us feedback about PRO Paddles he uses in every event.

“I use GONG PRO paddles all the time. They have three main assets:

Lightness

These are the lightest paddles I have ever had. When I offer my opponents or people on the beach to weigh it, everybody agrees with my statement. This is huge because you don’t feel restrained by your paddle, on the contrary, it becomes an asset.

Furthermore, the blade is slightly curved in a “V” shape. This allows water to be channeled off from the paddle each time you lift it. Which means less paddle strokes to return to the line-up!

Strength

I’m personally not very subtle with my paddles ? I have not broken a single one from GONG yet while it happened a lot with other brands. What I really like is that strength is not at the cost of flexibility: carbon does its job very well.

Value for money

The “price-quality” ratio is quite phenomenal. The paddle is made of carbon, extremely light and efficient. It’s amazing to access that level of performance at this price. 249€ for a paddle of this quality, for someone like me that uses it all the time, it’s awesome.”
