The Neutra UPE Aramid has proven formidable in ultra-light conditions for Edouard, who shares his first impressions with us.

Light and rigid

“Ultra lightwind on a Neutra UPE Aramid 5m² with a Cruzader 6’0, a Curve XXL-H, and a Freestyle 39 stabilizer. First impressions: I was impressed by this wing. As soon as you unpack it, you feel the quality of the fabrics, it’s really nice to the touch. Inflated, we have a wing that is light and so rigid! Nothing moves, and there’s no time to waste to get into the water.”

At a standstill

“The lightness of the wing is really pleasant when stationary, especially in light winds. The boom allows you to position your hands wherever you want, which is not negligible when you don’t want to tire yourself out while waiting for a gust.”

During takeoff

“The wing’s pumping is super natural, everything happens gradually. I didn’t have any tip touches that could have made me fall, so the wingspan is not a problematic issue.”

In flight

“The Neutra really excels in upwind performance, it glides through the air and doesn’t strain the arms at all! You can make long runs for several hundred meters without getting stiff. If you want a wing that is stable, powerful when you need it, and easy to forget about, then the Neutra is made for you. With the new materials, it exudes quality, durability, and lightness. The Team Series wings, with their lighter, stiffer, and more dynamic UPE Aramid construction, are available for order to the most demanding wing foilers until March 29, 2024.
