FEEDBACK : MOB COOL 7’2

As you can see, this shape has really evolved a lot.

I was able to test the Mob Cool 7’2 / 100L, my size 1.80 m for 77Kg. The width is perfectly distributed, even if I’m used to shortSUPs, you immediately feel the stability underfoot. The tail is slightly underwater which gives it stability when standing still, and there is no seasaw effect, so no real 3D balance to manage, the board is well-balanced on the water, that’s what surprised me the most.

When paddling, but especially on the take off, the nose provides the right amount of stability, but its rounded shape does not give the impression of pushing water, the board accelerates easily and quickly, so entering a wave is easy and early for its size. You don’t have to rush things on the take off to get the board up to speed. It naturally speeds up and engages in the slope of the wave very smoothly. In short, it is effective and super smooth.

In surfing, the rail to rail is much simpler, less abrupt, no risk of coming back flat if the rear foot is badly placed. The range of use extended, faster and more maneuverable in small conditions for the cool version, it wraps turns on its own. It’s a version of the Fork in SUP.

The Fatal disappears from the catalog this year, it is mainly the consequence of this new Mob which comes directly between the old Mob and the Fatal. A wider range of use, more nervousness.

It is very clearly a best-seller in the making ???
