Stéphane went for a sinker to complete his quiver with the Lethal FSP Pro of only 45 liters for his 84 kg

“Test of the Lethal FSP Pro 2023 4’4 in 45 liters! I wasn’t sure about the transition from a Lethal board of 80L 2022 to a Lethal of 45 liters 2023.
In the end, it went very well 😉
But I still kept the 80L for the light wind days! It’s a small model, very easy to handle, and featherweight. You don’t even feel it anymore, especially in jumps. Much less the cork effect of a bigger wing board. Lowered deck is great. Bulb effect at the front. It cuts through the air… and the water at top speed. On the straps and pads side, we stick to the board… even in neoprene booties. Tested with FLUID HM 1000cm² and 20 knots to 30 knots in 5m² then 4m². I am 84 kg. Top combo!
Easy take-off in a little over 20 knots.
I sink the board while kneeling (I hook the back strap with my toes to prevent the board from rising out of the water… if I put it too vertically) and I take the Wing at 45 degrees (having the board almost downwind), with 2 hands on the 2 handles. From 20 knots, no more fears of not being able to start. In the lulls, the board sinks… up to your waist anyway, so you have to manage the board’s trim to bring it to the surface with a few pumping strokes. More physical therefore for a return without wind! So watch out.”
