Feedback from Flavien who tested the HIPE Perf 6’5 on a windless day! And for good reason, as he tested our best selling inflatable board just with a paddle in SUP foiling.

“I bought a Zuma 6’6 in the spring of 2019 to start foiling. Quickly wing foiling came onto the scene and until yesterday I had never tried to SUP foil. It was actually my second SUP foiling session with the HIPE Perf 6’5 170L and the X-Over XL 1900cm² foil.Freefly wingsurfing helps a lot but you have to get used to the size of the board (6’5/170L/8kg vs ‘47 75L/5kg ?). There is a lot more inertia and a little heaviness but on the other hand it is very stable in flight. Considering the rough conditions, it was the right size so as not to struggle to get past the waves and take off easily. The front strap helped me a great deal to stay upright on the board, get over the whitewater and control the board when surfing.”
