In short, it’s as much fun as my rigid board.
Great for carving on the face of the wave, it reacts instantly, the rail to rail is fluid and the rare touchdowns are inconsequential. The square tail is quite effective for taking off and is discreet in engaged carves. I went for the 4’8 which is 85 liters, like my rigid board which was too bulky to travel with us, hence this purchase… In terms of stability it’s not at the level of my Lethal 4’10 which is really great for my weight (78kg). I was spoiled by great conditions though so I never struggled. It has the same comfortable pad as my rigid board. Grip is perfect. Which was essential for strapless sailing. So all good. I’m really satisfied. This is my first inflatable board and it’s pretty cool to travel with!”
