“After some exchanges by email with the GONG Team to confirm my choice, I listened to their advice and I went to the 10’6 for my 70 kgs.

Fast delivery and immediate unpacking. I must confess that everything is of exemplary quality. The Bag, the Pump, the Leash, the Paddle 30% Carbon and of course the inflatable SUP are made of great materials. And of course, a price defying all competition.

A few days later, I got in the water, on the river and wow, it was great, it’s very stable for a 10.6 30 inches wide. Even in case of a slight imbalance, it comes straight back flat thanks to its large tail. Validated river session. Second test, one week later, on a slightly undulating sea. It hardly moves. Sea session validated.

To conclude: On river and/or sea it works well. Stable, fast, no raw effect. I followed the advice and the charts person weight / size SUP, indicated by Gong. And it’s 200% reliable. There’s no point in taking bigger or smaller than what Gong advises. Just the right SUP/raiser ratio.

Last test to be carried out, the waves well formed. But I am convinced of its versatility to brave all conditions.”
