Though the huge lift of the Rise XXL at low speed is rather intended for beginner wing foilers of a strong build, everyone is free to divert from this program as Aurélien did. He made use of its qualities at low speed for a dockstart and ultra light wind wing session. Here is his feedback.

“After a dockstart session, I noticed there were very slight gusts. So I inflated a wing and kept the Rise XXL under the board to have a test ride with it! (I am 65 kg)

Am I the only one to take as much or even more pleasure/satisfaction in 8 knots than in 20 knots? I love defying gravity and Archimedes.

I got the Rise XXL up to 11 knots max with a stab Fast 40, which is more than enough for me in very light conditions!”
