Feedback from Nicolas who was able to test the pumping power of his new foil set-up with the Allvator 100% Carbon V2 Mast and Fluid XXL-T Front Wing in a dockstart sesh.

“Happiness never comes alone. Yesterday morning I received both my new 85 cm Carbon V2 mast, my Carbon V2 70 and the Fluid XXL-T … It was windy yesterday. I would have given priority to wing foiling but with 3° C this morning, I really wanted to test my new pumping set-up.

For the mast, weight gain is interesting vs the Alu 75, and a nice stiffness plus an ultra-smooth glide that I had already detected on the 85 tested last night in wing foiling, an upgrade that is really worth it …

Now let’s move on to the Fluid XXL-T … well … I’m not even going to try to compare it to the Fluid XXL because this T range brings a new dimension to gliding … Patrice Guénolé, it would not have surprised me if you had found another name than that of Fluid for that new front wing… even if we find common bases to both the classic Fluid and the T-range, it is as if you compare a classic Mercedes cab to an SLR AMG … you take a Fluid, you put it on steroids and there you have something very lively under your feet …

Obviously that surprises a little at the beginning and you have to tame the beast, find the perfect balance, then you can really enjoy and have fun!”
