Feedback from Tomer who was able to try his new Fluid L-T front wing in the waves with his SuperPower to get the most out of the light wind conditions.

“So today was test day for the L-T Fluid 1250. I went in first with the Curve 1900 and SuperPower 6 for over an hour. The sea was high. Choppy, around 1m. May be a little more.

When I noticed that the wind was picking up, I went outside to change to the much anticipated fluid L-T 1250. First 300m I needed to get used to the quickness of the foil so it went up and down until I managed to get my back foot position right and to tone down my muscle movements.

“The sensations of this foil are amazing”

Once I figured it out it was nothing but smiles. The sensations of this foil are amazing. It’s super fast, handles big waves without sweat. You go up and down the wave without stress and as soon as you push your back foot down the foil is flying up high and picks up the wave energy for even more glides.

It doesn’t whistle as much as the Fluid XL-S 1400 which I mainly use and it definitely glides better or to be precise – it reacts quicker to feet commands thus making it better for the user to decide where he wants to be on the wave and when.

The only downside to the foil is that for people like me, mainly weekend warrior, who weighs 92kg, you need a good gust to get it going, otherwise it becomes a little hard to get back on, especially in a choppy sea with a neutral volume board.

I foiled 30km for 3h in a slow wind so I was pretty beat up from pumping today from the beginning. Overall I recommend the foil, even for bigger sporty people but you need to know your limits, water behavior in your spot and wind limits because it requires some good wind to fly and healthy arms to make the magic happen.”
