When dock starting the quality of your run makes the difference! If you have good speed, you will make your life way easier. This is even more the case on high aspect wings which are relatively technical to launch from a dock. On the other hand, their lift is huge for wings capable of going really fast. A speed which in turn feeds the lift. The dream of perpetual motion is closer than ever ;)!

At the right pace, you go further, faster and with much less effort. Without the help of a swell or the wind to get to that pace, you can only count on your legs. Demonstration of a flying start by Maceo on the Veloce XL-H with the Catch FSP 2X Kite foil board which adapts perfectly to this exercise for its compactness, reactivity and big tolerance to touchdowns.
