Here’s a feedback from Aurel who went for a foil quiver made up of a Fluid LS and a Veloce XLT to cover his wing foiling program.

Here’s a feedback on GONG foils:

To begin with a big congratulations for the speed in terms of expedition and delivery. Besides I did not have the appropriate screws to mount the foil so I ordered them on Thursday, delivered on Saturday in mainland France and the following week in Guadeloupe thanks to one of my colleagues, great job.

Regarding my gear, it took me a long time to decide but I am happy with my choice:

Fluid LS for medium wind, surfing and jumps. Veloce XLT for light and/or downwinders on wind swell, all coupled with a Fluid 40.
Monoloc 70cm mast v2

The Fluid clearly lives up to its name.

It’s the first word that came to me once in the air, “fluid”! The impression of having removed a layer of algae on my old foil! Good glide and speed, it pops well and in surfing the feeling of being able to push the curve much further than before!?

The Veloce XLT completes my program perfectly, it flies early and it accelerates!

Despite its size, I was surprised at its maneuverability, both in the swell and on small waves. In terms of speed it’s still a big front wing and you can clearly feel it’s not as wild as the Fluid! I haven’t been able to fully exploit it yet though.?

Regarding the 70 mast, it’s clearly too small for wing foiling on a choppy body of water, but it was great for testing the gear! I’ll keep it for wake foiling and the 85 v2 is coming for wing foiling ?. Next will certainly be a Pro fuselage and Pro Fluid H Stab to unleash all the performance.
