Following a wing and a surf foil session, Tytouan ended the week-end with a surf sesh on his new JVB Bo 5’9, on which he choose to mount a twin fins plus trailer set-up.

“Another great weekend full of rides!! To finish in style, I had a surf with the JVB Bo 5’9. Once again, this board is a treat! One would think, with its generous shape, that it would not cope well with a substantial swell… Well it does!! It takes off a bit earlier than a performance shortboard which offers time to set the line before picking up a lot of speed, and then it flies, it skids, it turns. The twins plus trailer fin set-up is really suitable for this model! ?”

The BO is halfway between a fish and a classic shortboard.

Its low and relaxed rocker, its advanced max width, give it a lot of comfort when paddling, and an early wave entry. A wide tail that provides speed and accelerations, with a thruster assembly for a great pivot. Or like Tytouan, a twin set-up to have an even more playful board. A very compact shape for scoring in small to medium sloppy waves. Perfect to complete your usual performance shortboard, still with a shortboard DNA.
