Deflate your wing
You start by putting your wing on the extrado on a safe spot: no thorns, bits of glass, people who will run over it, etc… Leading edge on the side where the wind comes from (upwind).
You secure it by attaching the leash to a fixed and solid point windward.
Unscrew the big cap of the valve, gently letting the air out gradually. Deflating with a sharp blow can tear the bladder.
We will open the clip of the central strut widely: deflating position.
The wing will deflate in a few seconds.
We will remove the fiber battens and roll them into the bag.
Fold the center batten starting from the back. Fold a length of the bag and gently squash it. The air flows to the front of the batten and out through the “one-pump” system. Fold it again to crush the entire batten and empty it completely (without pinching the hose of the “one-pump” system).
Unroll the central strut flat and spread the wing out flat.
Roll the wing from the tips towards the center. Ideally, you should start with the opposite half of the wing to the valve side. The leading edge is well emptied of air as you progress towards the centre.
Fold the wing to fit in the bag without pinching the window if there is one.
Pack the wing neatly into the bag.
