Connect your lines

Technique 1:

Your Kite is placed on the Leading Edge facing the wind on the sand. Bridles are unraveled and placed towards the back (downwind).

You will unfurl your Lines downwind of the Kite to mount them exactly as they will be in the air (neither crossing nor twisted).

Once your Lines are flat on the sand in the wind axis, you untangle them by passing the Back Line on each side of your legs and the Front Lines between your legs. The twist in the Fronts are of little importance, but untangle them anyway.

Once everything is clean, you may go ahead and connect. Look at the color codes so do not inverse them! Your Kite is facing the ground; the left is therefore on the right.

To take off you will have to rotate your Bar and your Lines by 90° and make it a half turn otherwise it will be reversed. Look for color codes.

Attention: taking off with an inverted Bar is super dangerous. Certainly, the most inept situation possible.

Technique 2:

To unwind your Lines, stand with your back to the wind and put the end of the Lines upwind of the Kite. Walk upwind while unfastening your Bar with one hand in the center and guiding the lines with your other hand. When your Lines are completely unrolled, place the Bar on the sand so that the red side is on the right.

Now, stand between the Lines. The two Back Lines should be on the outside of your legs, and the Front Lines should be between your legs. When you reach the end of the Lines, place them on the sand, spaced far enough apart to avoid entangling them.

All you have to do is attach them according to the color codes and without crossing them.

To take off you will need to rotate your Bar and your lines by 90° to 90° of the wind axis. Pay attention to color codes.

Technique 3:

Unwind your Lines at a 90° angle from the wind, in the axis of the takeoff. Bar to the left (not reversed), you untangle until you get upwind of the kite. The bridles are clear and spread under the kite. You will take the Back Line that is windward and connect it to the back furthest from the Bar. Then you pass a Front Line over the Back Line and connect it to the first Front Bridle. Then the second Front Line goes over the previously connected Back Line and connects to the remaining Front Bridle. Finally, the remaining Back Line, closest to the Bar, passing over the other lines will connect to the remaining Bridle.
