Foil Setup Veloce V3 Atmo Carbon HM 85 - Team Series
Description
Programme
The complete supersonic foil with incredible glide and pumping.
Presentation
The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series is the high ratio carbon wing dedicated to freefly FF means FreeFly: fly long, maintain speed, pass soft areas, carver, connect further and exploit each relief of water with maximum efficiency.
Its shape V3 Atmo is a real shape of new generation It retains the Veloce DNA: glide, high average speed, maneuverability, efficient pumping, beautiful lines and comfort in long trajectories. But everything has been modernized to go further: autostable profile, cleaner leaves, more precise trailing edges, safer tips, new dihedron offering more grip, for an overall gain of more than 20% in yield.
The V3 Atmo Team Series wings retain the SuperLock connection and the carbon construction 12K clear: we are in continuity. For everything else, as soon as you take off the difference is shocking. The foil is much more slippery and healthier at the same time.
The Veloce FF stands far above the Fluid in glide, freefly and long distance pumping. The Fluid is more nervous, more snapy, more dynamic. The Veloce FF keeps the speed, extends flights, pumps and accelerates with less effort and allows to connect further without falling into a wing of pure performance difficult to handle.
The set is composed of the carbon mast 85HM, a jewel of technological know-how. Glide, stiffness, lightness and reactivity: it is the essential mast for foilers in search of excellence.
The length of 85cm brings a great versatility and tolerance in uses. No need for much background, the curves are easy without being overflowed, the rigidity is top, the nervousness is absolute, and the pumping very effective.
Front Wing
Stab
The outline of the Veloce H is sleek, with tips slightly set back to move the lift center of the stab backwards and increase the leverage of the stab over the whole lower. This makes it possible to undersize the stab’s surface, thus improving drag and comfort at high speeds.

Mast
To adapt your mast to your program, you have the choice between three thicknesses:
- If you are looking for glide and speed above all, the HM14 will be perfect.
- If you want a versatile mast, beyond the extremes, this is the HM15 for you.
- If you are more pumping/light wind oriented with large wings, and you are looking for foolproof rigidity for maximum precision, the HM16 is made for you!

Carbon Top Module Team Series
The carbon High Module TORAY M40J used in our layups offers very high mechanical properties, especially in Young's modulus and tensile strength. Combined with intermediate modulus fibers and calculated draping planes, it makes it possible to lock the forces where the wing needs them: bending, twisting, connection, curved supports, pumping, restarts and repeated loads.
This rigidity directly changes the feeling on the water. The supports are transmitted faster, the foil responds more precisely and the energy is lost less in the deformation of the wing. In pumping, each pressure becomes more effective. On the curve, the foil gives a sharper reading. At high speed, the set remains more stable with a cleaner feeling. The Team Series is not just a premium carbon finish. It is a construction designed to fully exploit the V3 Atmo shapes: thinner profiles, more precise trailing edges, rigid connections, optimized layups and more direct behavior under the feet.
The result is a more nervous, more precise, more efficient foil, but always consistent with the program of each model. Each wing keeps its own identity, with the extra efficiency, control and responsiveness expected from a Team Series carbon build.
SuperLock self-tightening system
This principle provides a direct gain in rigidity, precision and operating silence. The foil remains wedged, without parasitic play, even when we load hard in curves, pumping, raises, accelerations or receptions. The supports are transmitted more cleanly, the piloting becomes more readable and the feeling under the feet remains constant.
The fitting requires only two screws under the stab. Assembly is simple, fast and ergonomic on a daily basis. The stab is changed in a few moments, without multiplying the screws or complicating the assembly.
The pressure angle was studied to combine locking under load and easy disassembly after the session. Even after a big navigation, the stab remains simple to remove from the fuselage.
This self-tightening principle has already been proven for several years on our V2 and V3 stalls. This is a real mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable and durable.
Buying guide
For whom?
This is a wing for experienced riders looking to maximize surf and freefly time in a session.
For what ?
The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series is aimed at experienced riders who want to maximize freefly, glide, light wind, connections and fast pumping with a high ratio wing that remains manageable.
In wingfoil and lowkite, it is perfect for those who want to fly for a long time with little traction, create apparent wind, pass slacks, surf bumps and keep a high average speed. It’s the wing that makes you want to let go wing or pack the lowkite and let the foil carve.
In surf foil and SUPfoil, it is suitable for practitioners who want to glide in small waves, soft swells, wind waves and conditions where the objective is to connect further rather than snapping short.
In downwind, it is aimed at riders who want a fast, stable, planing and maneuverable wing for its ratio. It allows you to maintain speed between bumps and cross soft areas with more margin and perform solid carves.
In pumping, she speaks to practitioners who want fast, fluid and manageable pumping. It requires more tempo than a Trail or a Sirus, but it offers more speed and a freer feeling. Top in slalom.
The Veloce FF Team Series also makes a lot of sense for someone who likes glide wings, but doesn't want to switch to a very large or very specialized wing. She remains playful and comfortable for her level of performance.
What size forehead Wing?
The choice of size depends on weight, level, support, conditions and objective: light wind, freefly, surf foil, SUPfoil, downwind, pumping or lowkite.
Choosing a larger size allows you to gain in low range, early takeoff, pumping, ease of reconnection and comfort in soft water. It is the logical choice for heavier sizes, light wind, small waves, weak swells and bodies of water offering irregular conditions (lakes for example).
Choosing an intermediate size allows you to benefit from the best Veloce FF balance: glide, average speed, maneuverability, freefly, pumping and versatility. This is often the most consistent choice for a quiver wing.
Choosing a smaller size allows you to gain speed, control, maneuverability and comfort in faster conditions. It is the choice of experienced practitioners, light weights or spots that push more. Top in furious downwind for example, in lowkite packed in strong wind etc…
In wingfoil and lowkite, you have to adapt the size to the wind, the weight, the board and the level. The weaker or more irregular the wind, the more you need to go up in size. The higher the level rises and the more the conditions accelerate, the more we can reduce.
In surf foiling and SUPfoiling, you have to keep enough surface area to start correctly and connect, but avoid oversizing if you want to maintain maneuverability in the wave. The right size is the one that allows you to glide without blocking the curves.
In downwind, you have to find the right balance between early takeoff, speed and maneuverability. Too small makes it difficult to pass flatter areas. Too big can limit speed and control in fast bumps.
When pumping, a larger size makes it easier to maintain flight. A smaller one requires more pace, but gives more speed and more freedom.
If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one for light wind, connections, softness and ease. Choose the smaller one only if the level, conditions and priority objective justify more speed and maneuverability.
What stab?
The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series works ideally with a Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series stab. Both components are designed for the same program: glide, freefly, average speed, pumping, connections and control.
A larger stab provides more longitudinal stability, more front foot and more comfort on takeoff. This is the logical choice to discover the Veloce FF, for large forehead sizes wing, light wind, slacks or heavier jigs.
A smaller stab strongly releases the foil. It reduces drag, increases speed, improves fast pumping and gives a freer feeling. It is often the choice of experienced riders who want to fully exploit the glide potential of the Veloce FF.
The Veloce FF accepts minimalist stabs very well, because its straight outline and its self-stable profile reduce the need for rear surface area. This is one of the essential levers for transforming your performance into real speed on the water.
For more downwind or pure glide practices, it is possible to use a tail shaft with a tail wing Hypertrail. This combination frees up the glide of the foil even more, but makes the whole thing more technical.
The correct setting always depends on the front torque wing / stab, but also the position of the foil in the boxes. If the stab is smaller and the front foot support decreases, it will often be necessary to move the foil forward slightly to find a natural balance.
When in doubt, start with a comfortable stab to secure takeoff and balance, then gradually reduce to release speed, glide and pumping. The Veloce FF likes fine adjustments: well adjusted, it becomes a machine to fly for a long time.
How thick?
You have the choice between 3 thicknesses.
The thicker the mast, the more rigid it is and provides great control, especially on large front fenders.
The thinner the mast, the faster it is and increases top speed and acceleration, especially on small wings.
Here are our recommendations for choosing mast thicknesses to guarantee perfect stiffness of the whole:
- The thickness of 14mm is recommended for front fenders up to 100 cm span
- The thickness of 15mm is recommended for front fenders up to 120 cm span
- The thickness of 16mm is recommended for front fenders up to 150 cm span
Aluminum or titanium fuselage?
We strongly recommend using a Titanium fuselage in the following cases:
- It is mandatory for your safety if you plan to sail outside the 300m zone, or if you sail more than 300m from a shelter (serious bodily risks in the event of unexpected breakage).
- If you jump (risk of material loss).
- If you use front wings with a span of more than 110 cm (risk of material loss).
- If you do intensive pumping.
- If you don't meet any of the above conditions, the aluminum V3 fuselage will suit you very well.
