First thanks to its record lightness which allows an easy and very comfortable handling. You don’t get tired with the Plus. All maneuvers are easier with this featherweight wing.
Then thanks to its power at the heart of the profile which allows you to fly within two pumping strokes to discover wing foiling without having to be overpowered. We progress with confidence in a pleasant wind range.
Finally, thanks to the smooth feel of the Plus 2023 which absorbs wind gusts like no other with its dynamic twisting that retains the air in the low range and releases the power in the high range. Magical.
It’s no mystery, the number of hours of practice makes the difference in your progression. So when learning you need a wing that gets you flying early, handles gusts smoothly and is easy to handle .
When progressing, solidity is a crucial point. The Plus is light but really strong. First, thanks to the premium materials we use. Then thanks to the quality of assembly which ensures record breaking strength. Finally by a clever design which positions the seams in a way that stiffens the wing but also limits tearing in the event of a contact with the foil. Note that the bladder is easier to access at the tips if you ever need to change it.
The evolution of the 2023 models is truly incredible. Handling and accessibility are boosted. Steering the wing is really more comfortable and more intuitive; be it for your first flights or your first tricks.

Buying guide
For whom?
Designed for beginners but also for experts, the Plus wing is really perfect to discover this sport and progress quickly.
But it is also suitable for the more experienced because its power to weight ratio is the best in the range. This is an incredible asset in a lot of situations, in freeride, freestyle, and also in the waves. And with its well placed hollow, it is game on in freerace.
For what?
Clearly its role is to facilitate your first year of wing foiling.
But it is also the most versatile wing offering a high level of performance in all registers:
- It takes off early.
- It holds far in the high end.
- It is super maneuverable, and so light.
- It sails upwind and flies downwind like a slalom sail!
Light, powerful, easy, it has all the qualities to bring you to a good level and even much further.
What size?
When learning, in 99% of the cases you go for a 5m² . Its ideal range is from 15 knots to 25 knots. Once in flight with a 15 knots gust, you will easily hold the flight in 12 knots. A pro will keep flying in 8knts lulls when pumping, the wind range is absolutely huge :
Don’t overestimate the power of wings. The ambient blah blah would have you believe that you will have fun with a 4m² in 12 knots, even 8 knots… It is really just BS to make you get a cheaper wing and make you believe that this sport is magic.
The reality is that for a 85kg winger, you need 15/20 knots with a 5m² to fly to get flying the first times. After about 15 sessions, you will fly at 15 knots with a 5m². And if you’re athletic, pumping hard can make you take off at 12 knots in 5m² and hold the flight through 8 knots lulls. All this can be learned and requires practice.
Best quiver choices?
The Wing Plus is the most versatile wing in the range so it matches perfectly with a HIPE, a Zuma, a Lance but also with a Mob 2Taste, a Flint, a Mint, a Kube, a Lemon or the Lethal according to your style and your desires. On the foil side, the Allvator Aluminum wing foils with the Rise, X-Over and Curve front wings will make the magic combo for easy beginnings and sessions.

Which leash?
A 5’5 to 8’ Wing leash will be ideal. Preferably a model dedicated to wing foiling and of the coiled type. A short leash allows you to get back on the board quickly. By letting the board go further, a long leash prevents contacts between the foil and the wing.
Check its condition before each session and change it every year. It’s your life jacket.
Don’t let your wing flap in the wind at the end of the leash, it’s not unbreakable! Ditto in the waves, do not hold your Wing by the leash, it will explode and/or you will get hurt.
With or without a harness?
Riding without a harness is sexy because it’s a thing of the moment and it makes you feel free. You can move in all directions, it’s really nice.
But it is necessary to be slightly underpowered if you do not want your arms to burn too quickly. This also means more pumping to take off.
All our wings have harness line attachments since 2021. So, the choice is yours.
So, if you like to ride with more power, the use of a harness is almost mandatory if you don’t want your sessions to be limited to one hour. In this case, the installation of harness line is super simple, (see our tutorials on the forum). We advise you to use a harness that is enveloping and as soft as possible, with a windsurfing type of hook.
So, it’s up to you to see if sensation and aesthetics prevail over performance. But it is a safe bet that soon all riders will have harnesses because the evolution will go towards more powerful wings and more performance.
Boom or handles?
We’ve tried everything, in every conceivable combination. A boom is great but not at all suitable for beginners who need a light wing.
With a boom, a beginner will hit the board and damage it, in addition to killing his shoulders for nothing.
By 2021, we had reduced the number of handles to a minimum and gained almost a kilogram per wing. On the V2 we offer thinner and more rigid handles.
In 2023, we have further optimized the number of handles to control the Wing with your fingertips only and adapt the position of your hand without ever losing control.
The choice is therefore three ideally placed handles:
- One for moving it around and surfing on the leading edge.
- A front handle on the central batten.
- A long rear handle to adjust the power without letting go of the wing.
Windows or full canopy?
Wings without windows require a maneuverable, responsive wing and an experienced rider who sails instinctively. Always check your trajectory, especially in maneuvers and tricks.
Wings with windows are safer.
For beginners, a wing with windows is a must because safety comes first. They are used to see a silhouette to abort a dangerous curve that would cause a collision, without having to manipulate the Wing and expose yourself to a fall.
With or without battens?
Riders want light wings! Rightfully. So that’s how we designed the Plus in 2023.
Equipments
- The windows have been positioned to have a panoramic leeward view. This is a real plus for your safety and that of others.
- The new large rear handle naturally positions your hand where you are most comfortable. Once in flight, your hand won’t move much, but you’ll find this big handle very useful during take-off, pumping or certain tricks where moving your rear hand makes life easier. Easier to catch than the double handle, it remains precise in steering.
- The handle for the front hand is placed ideally. Its position depends on the hollow, so it is more precise to have a small front handle because on a good wing the profile does not move back. There is no need to move your front hand.
- A downwind handle on the leading edge that allows you to handle the shocked wing on land as well as on the water.
- Two harness loops placed on the strut allow you to attach your GONG harness line to sail for long hours without getting tired.
- The inflation/deflation valves are used directly with the tip of the hose (not supplied). No more non-compatible or lost nozzles!
- The neoprene caps of the valves have been drilled to facilitate the evacuation of air when folding, even when closed!
- The mini fiber battens at the trailing edge have been lightened for a considerable weight gain.
- All our wings are supplied with a premium bag and a repair kit.
- To comply with navigation regulations, we have integrated a plastic label on the intrados, close to the tip, to write down the owner’s personal information: surname, first name, telephone and address.
Delivery
Delivery time
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.
Eco-responsible packaging

Receipt of your product
Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

Sur la Plus 2023, le creux est assez marqué au centre pour la puissance, les tips vrillent dans les rafales et son envergure est réduite au maximum pour faciliter l’apprentissage.
La nouvelle segmentation du bord d’attaque (BA) comprend une section centrale courte (et de fort diamètre) pour rigidifier le dièdre. Celle-ci renforce également la connexion entre la latte et le bord d’attaque, ce qui bloque toutes les déformations et cette sensation désagréable de voir le bord d’attaque vriller sous le vent au niveau de la latte centrale. La latte et le BA restent dans le plan originel, même si vous tirez fort. On saute vraiment plus haut, plus longtemps, on va plus vite et ça accélère fort !
Une seconde section a été ajoutée afin d’optimiser les performances du profil grâce à une découpe plus progressive dans l’avant du shape. Le profil est plus doux, légèrement plus creux devant, plus bombé. On n’a plus cette impression que l’aile cavite parfois.
La Plus 2023 a une nouvelle angulation plus harmonieuse entre les segments du bord d’attaque afin de limiter la flexion avec des diamètres modérés, tout en augmentant la respiration de l’aile.
Le diamètre des segments aux oreilles de la Plus 2023 a été diminué pour proposer une wing plus tolérante, plus douce, avec une glisse naturelle. Elles sont également refermées et légèrement vrillées ce qui réduit l’envergure de 20cm, les éloignent de l’eau dans les trois axes et vous garantit un pumping efficace.
C’est à coup sûr la wing la plus facile pour les débutants mais pas que.
Latte
La Plus 2023 a un tout nouveau shape de latte centrale en Z. La découpe des panneaux est perpendiculaire à la latte afin de la construire comme le bord d’attaque et donc de la rendre bien plus solide à la haute pression. La connexion avec les nouveaux segments centraux est plus ferme. Le tiers central est étudié pour ne pas plier entre les mains. Car c’est entre les mains que se forme une grande partie du flex qui ouvre la chute. Nous avons bloqué ce point pour plus de puissance et de précision de la wing. Enfin le tiers arrière de la latte est cousu sur la canopy sans panneau de creux. Ceci permet d’augmenter la section de latte au niveau de la main arrière et de lui donner une plus forte résistance à la pliure sous le vent. La latte est deux fois plus raide, garantissant un shape constant en sauts ou dans les rafales. La main arrière agit directement sur la fermeture de la chute grâce au placement du point arrière de la poignée arrière après le début de ce large cône : en tirant sur la main arrière on referme la latte au lieu de la laisser ouvrir sur les lattes classiques. L’ensemble réduit le flap et donne une puissance impressionnante. La rigidité gagnée permet de maîtriser avec beaucoup de finesse la wing et apporte de la constance dans son comportement.
La wing PLUS 2023 est tolérante, facile et hyper efficace au pumping. Vous décollez tôt dès les premiers coups de pumping et elle vous facilitera les relances fréquentes quand on débute.
