Wing foil board Mint FSP 2X

Program
The best glide in a performance shape. Designed for freeriding to wave riding.
Presentation
The Mint is a best-seller in our lineup, thanks to its magical glide.
Big innovation on the deck to improve comfort with a recessed deck under the pad. The board is thinner, and you pilot the foil more directly.
Everything feels effortless with the Mint, and anything is possible. Takeoff requires no effort, and a pro will throw back mobs on repeat with it.
With its versatile shape, which maintains some length and width without being excessive, it strikes the perfect balance between ease and high-level performance. Its exceptional glide makes takeoffs easy, even in light wind conditions, while its stability when at a standstill is impeccable.
Maneuverability and responsiveness have been further optimized for an unmatched experience, especially in freefly mode. While other models in the range are more focused on pure performance or compactness, the Mint is the ideal choice for those seeking a high-performance board that's easy to handle and perfect for progressing.
Easy, smooth, stable, and physically low demanding, it’s a super cool board that our team loves riding for its versatility and simplicity in performance.
Available in 7 sizes, from 4'10" (65L) to 5'10" (125L), there’s definitely a Mint that will meet your needs.
There are dozens of strap adjustment options, either centered or offset, which can be set up for a surf-oriented stance or a more symmetrical freeride stance, along with a perfect strapless pad. This board, part of the family of compact gliding shapes, is equipped with non-extended boxes to save weight.
In addition to being really easy and versatile, the Mint is light, stiff and performant thanks to its innovative and high-end FSP 2X construction.
Outline
The length/width/volume ratio of the Mint has been optimized to provide the best glide possible without sacrificing stability. The result is impressive: accessibility and performance have never worked so well together. Ideal for freeride, surf, downwind, and freerace sessions. It's the longest board in the range (excluding Cruzaders). You glide more, pump less, and it looks great.
Flat rocker
Thanks to a flat rocker in the rear third, the glide is optimized. The Mint accelerates in a flash when taking off. You pump much less, and the repop is magical in case of slight touchdowns.
Hull
The flat hull on the rear third is 100% planing. Water flow is optimized, allowing maximum glide for ultra-easy and fast takeoffs, even with a small foil. You can reduce your front wing by 200cm² for the same takeoff. The double concave in the front channels the water flow and softens touchdowns and landings, making them painless.
Tail
A flat and round tail provides more glide, minimal bulk in turns, and explosive repop. The flat tail rocker ensures optimal glide on the water before takeoff. Touchdowns when surfing are no longer an issue, becoming a natural part of surfing, whether in big landings for pros or while learning tricky moves like a re-entry over the whitewater: just set the board on the water at the critical moment and secure your way down the wave. This new Mint does it perfectly.
Rails
Sharp, straight rails at the tail give the Mint more glide, similar to a windsurf board. The sharp side adds more glide, drive, and makes the takeoff phase easier. In the center, the rails are less vertical and much softer on the front third for added comfort.
Nose
The pointed nose is generous yet well-defined. The double concave under the nose, combined with the bulb, narrow outline, and faceted rails, makes touchdowns completely harmless. Instead of slowing down, the Mint bounces off the water and comes on foil immediately. It’s truly incredible when landing jumps or for airs in surfing. This absence of punishment encourages trying new moves and will help you progress very quickly.

Buying guide
For whom?
This is a simple and stable board—so much so that you could almost start learning with it. However, you still need a sufficient level to truly enjoy it:
Either you already have a significant number of wing foiling hours (let’s say jibes mastered, starting on tacks).
Or you are already skilled at riding a foil (in kite, for example).
Or you have a windsurfing background: that really helps with handling the wing and balance.
In any case, even if it is easy, the Mint is still performance-oriented, true to its program.
In large volume (your weight +30), it is very forgiving. But if you choose a volume closer to your body weight (+10), staying on your knees in choppy conditions won’t be a walk in the park. You’ll need to be in good physical shape to stay agile.
It is clearly the board for riders who want to push wing foiling’s potential to the max in the waves while keeping comfort.
It’s also an excellent option for Lowkite, as its stability makes preparation and takeoffs much easier.
For what?
The Mint is a pure freeride/freefly, wave-riding board, with just the right amount of comfort to make life easier and to allow you to throw tricks without worrying about struggling to get going again.
In summary: it’s 80% wave riding and 20% freestyle/jumps. So, 100% freeride ;-)
It is lively and playful. It’s truly an amazing feeling to have everything fall perfectly into place. High-speed and carving control are fantastic.
Ideal for surfing and perfect for jumps, it’s 100% high-performance.
Which size?
Which foil?
The Mint will be perfect with all high-aspect ranges such as the Veloce and the Fluid. The Curve will be great for its reassuring, easygoing character. And a Sirus L will let you take off super easily while still keeping things playful.
The Curve H: the combo of maneuverability and lift. It is the queen of carving and low end (which doesn’t mean it can’t pick up speed!). It is also the most comfortable for pumping, allowing for numerous connections without burning out your thighs.
The Fluid H: the combo of maneuverability and speed. Perfect for making tight turns, going fast, gliding, and having a very responsive foil. With a very powerful pop added to that, it’s a foil that can truly go anywhere you want, both in the water and in the air!
The Veloce H: the combo of glide, speed, and carves. With these qualities, it is a machine for freeride and long carves, freefly, and downwind. With it, you can glide and connect bumps without limits with unparalleled fluidity. It has a great acceleration capacity on the wave and a low stalling speed, making it easy to fly in all conditions.
The Veloce HDW: 100% glide with a ratio of 13+. Fully focused on endless gliding, the Veloce HDW is the queen of downwind and fast pumping; it also excels in light winds with its infinite acceleration and formidable upwind capability.
The Sirus: the king of light wind. Extreme lift while maintaining glide to generate apparent wind—that’s the Sirus’s magic recipe, letting you ride for hours while others watch from the beach, even in small swell.
The Ypra Surf: the fast surf foil. It delivers the greatest control to date during intense surf phases: high speed, steep drops, sharp slopes, powerful turns. Thanks to its reduced volume, it also avoids repopping too hard and throwing you off balance. Everything stays under control.
The Ypra Surf Freestyle: the ultimate mix of jumps and radical surf. This foil is a ball of energy that lets you take off instantly, pop instinctively, and even repop almost higher ;-) In the surf, it’s explosive—making it particularly suited to softer conditions.
Which stabilizer?
Combinations: Ideally, we recommend pairing a Veloce H stabilizer with your Veloce H front wing, as these two elements are designed for the same purpose and optimized to work in perfect harmony.
Size: The ideal size will depend on your board, skill level, weight, spot conditions, and front wing.
We’ve calculated all stabilizer and front wing pairs so that, for example, an M is ideal with an M in all models.
But you can also play with the size:
- Larger size (L for FW M) will give you more front foot support, firmer footing, less liveliness, and reduced speed. It's reassuring but less performance-oriented.
- A smaller size (S for FW M) will offer less stability, more responsiveness, greater acceleration, and more radical performance. Highly effective but somewhat unstable.
Note that instability can also be an advantage—for pop, of course, and for surfing to some extent. The positive side of instability is its reactivity. It's up to you to decide if that’s what you’re aiming for.
