She’s incredibly fast while paddling and her #1 quality is its fluidity in linking maneuveres without losing speed. its moderate rocker gives its the capacity to turn and to dare noserides in all sorts of waves. She has a trick repertory that goes from the classics all the way to pop 360°s with a predisposition for modest waves where you’ll get the most out of her.

A round tail ultra versatile and smooth. Rails, slightly rounded, notably at tail for hold on those extra tight turns. Outline worthy of that of competition Longboards. 2 FCS II/Futures Boxes and 1 US center for multiple Fin configurations.

This magnificiently glassed and shaped board offers all the qualities of small wave modern Longboarding.

This is the Longboard fluid and modern within the GONG Surf Origin 2.0 board range.

Ideal Waves

Size : knee to head high waves.
Strength : at its best in all sorts of waves, even in the mush.
Type : she can handle it all but prefers the glass, as do we all.

Stability

Less than 75 kg : very easy even for a beginner.
75 kg to 95 kg : easy, a super, very fluid, “do it all” board.
More than 95 kg : perfect and incredibly performant.
Skill minimum : beginning surfer. An incredibley versatile shape, not to mention the noserides.

Construction

The Origin 2.0 technology combines solidity, performance and a polished glossy finish that will make heads turn on the beach! This modern composite sandwich that combines wood and carbon on an EPS foam blank is just superb. The vacuum glued wood strengthens the board against knocks, dents and breakage. The carbon belt creates an outer double batten that provides incredible responsiveness. This very high-end technology is the perfect combination of durability, dynamism and performance. In a nutshell

Rocker : constant and moderate for a longboard : 100% glide.
Rails : hard at tail and round at the nose for pure feeling 100% modern.
Volume : thin rails but volume through the center for mad performance in small conditions.
Outline : tail, very versatile, floaty nose.
Tail : round tail for maximum fluidity.
Nose : round nose, buoyant, for paddling and noserides.

ORIGIN 2.0 Surf Technology

High quality premium materials : super light EPS blanks, Epoxy resin, Fiber Glass, Carbon Fiber, PVC reinforcements, 0,6mm wood veneer, Patented FCS2 Boxes. Materials chosen for their magnificent beauty and their mechanical qualities.

This technology is fundamentally the same as the WCKF but with Carbon over the rails and a transparent finish that demands an enormous amount of time at each phase for a beautiful finish.

It is a solid and performant technology with a glossy finish. Superb construction with modern composites.

Technical details :

Board, 100% Epoxy over EPS Blank : solid and light.
Deck and Hull in vacuumed wood sandwich : the wood is resistant to shocks and softens vibrations.
Deck : 3 layers of fiber glass + wood core + reinforcements over all sensitive zones.
Hull : 2 layers of fiber glass + wood core + reinforcements over all sensitive zones, such as Fin Boxes.
Rails : Full Carbon Belt + 5 layers of fiber glass overlay over the rails.
Reinforced Boxes and glued with Epoxy inside a high density PVC foam with layers of FDV over them.
Digital Pre-shape, shape controlled by traditional templates, 100% hand finish.
Glossy Hand Finish, for that smack in the face look!
The Origin 2.0 Techno is repairable to new and we sell the necessary components for the job.
The Origin 2.0 are light, dynamic and stay supple and limit rebounding in the waves.
