The Couine Marie are high-end boards created by a renowned shaper and passionate engineers. The Couine Marie Paddleboard is a pure training paddle board, this 12’0 inflatable paddleboard is as efficient as it is practical. The strengths of this board are obvious:
  • less dangerous than a rigid board,
  • very solid,
  • economic,
  • very easy to store and transport,
Ideal for leisure and to discover the sport, this Couine Marie 10’6 S is nevertheless fast and efficient.

Construction

With its top of the range inflatable technology in Doubled Layered Welded Woven Dropstitch, this GONG board is beautiful, light, very rigid and really solid. Manufactured in the best factory in the world, with the densest and highest quality Woven Dropstitch, we are sure that its glue composites will last for years, without leakage or deformation. The Couine Marie are the best, yet still accessible with our direct sales distribution that does not add margins. We are far from the low cost boards made in low end factories by people who know nothing about it. GONG is a serious and renowned brand, which got into stand up paddling in its very early days and brought it to the level of respectability that we know today. It is therefore unthinkable for us to make low-end products that we see in supermarkets.

Equipments

The Couine Marie Paddleboard comes with a US central fin because the objective of the Couine Marie range is to have a high performance board. When we know that the fin makes 50% of the performance of a board, GONG had to come up with a relevant solution. This is why our inflatable paddleboards are fitted with a US box for the central fin. Thus, you will have access to the largest standard on the high-end fin market. A huge choice of fins to adapt according to your level, your practice and the conditions. It is equipped with two carrying handles to grab it easily. Two “turtle” handles in the front third that allow you to either get over the whitewater by pulling the board, or to get out of the water dragging the board over the water. Really practical! The large diameter leash ring is the strongest on the market. The Deck Pad is particularly designed to be efficient and comfortable. The Deck Pad is super comfortable for paddling on your knees and for moving around the board. We are well anchored there, it is essential to row quickly. The supplied double-action inflation pump is super efficient to be the first in the water. A repair kit is also included in the event of damage (note the kit is delivered without glue which you will easily find in your DIY store). Note that we have the components of your board in stock in order to repair it fairly easily. Everything comes in a super practical and solid carry bag. The backpack straps are padded and very comfortable. The handles are super strong and comfy. The large front pocket allows you to store your accessories and personal effects without risking losing them. And the compression straps keep the bag volume to a minimum. Nothing is missing!

Shape

This shape is made for gliding. Its taut lines are designed to promote paddling speed. When paddling we appreciate its glide specific to inflatable boards, all in fluidity, which is boosted by its narrow outline. Its almost constant rocker and narrow width allow for maximum speed. Thanks to its sufficiently large volume and wide tail, it remains easy to paddle and efficient in the relaunch phases. If you want to pick up the pace, its streamlined shape accelerates easily. In terms of maneuverability, wrapping a buoy or an obstacle with its wide tail is easy, just like surfing the swell in downwinds or the waves on the shoreline. In more difficult conditions, its pointed nose allows you to calmly cut through the choppy water. On waves or on swells, the take off is early because the distribution of the volume of an inflatable makes it start early. Its voluminous round square tail allows you to step back in the surf or downwind. Once back, it’s stable, manoeuvrable and it glides on its own! For each size, the volume is important, it can accompany you from your very beginnings in paddleboarding.

What is the difference between our Chip range and Couine Marie range ?

Equipments

  • 1 removable single fin with US Standard box allowing the use of a variety of fins.
  • 2 ergonomic silicone handles on the front quarter for carrying and turtles.
  • 1 US box on the front deck to easily attach a support (for a water bottle for example).
  • 5mm Deck Pad for absolute grip and comfort.
  • Leash ring on tail to not lose your board.
  • High pressure inflation valve on the nose to facilitate deflation and storage.
  • Double action inflation pump.
  • New transport bag with padded shoulder straps for extra comfort.
  • Repair kit (glue not supplied).

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.

For our shipments, we use:


  • Scotch craft paper.

  • Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

  • For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.

This means:


  • Reusable and recyclable packaging.

  • An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.

  • Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).


Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
