Introduction

The Carbon Mix 100% is an ultra-versatile paddle designed to adapt to all your activities, whether it’s surfing or cruising, all with exceptional lightness.

Its balanced shape, with a compact volume and a smooth teardrop outline, provides natural glide and great versatility, perfect for progressing without limitations. Light, efficient, durable and well-crafted, this paddle is designed to deliver great sensations to all SUPers, whether beginners or experienced riders, with top-level responsiveness thanks to its full carbon construction.

Blade

The blade shape features a low volume that forgives mistakes. Its smooth outline combines comfort and performance in surf conditions, offering excellent propulsion capabilities. An ABS rail protects the entire edge of the blade from impacts. On the water, it’s a high-performance paddle with a clean catch, effortless handling, and a very stable, predictable feel that inspires confidence, even in less technical paddlers. Able to handle high cadences and deliver strong grip during acceleration, it’s an efficient paddle in all conditions.

In surf conditions, it glides beautifully thanks to its finely tuned blade face. With a moderate rocker on the power face, it provides excellent grip when the paddle is positioned away from the surfer, like during bottom turns, for precise drive, while maximizing glide when it’s closer to the board’s axis. You never feel pulled backward when loading the paddle ; when handled properly, it can even increase your speed through turns. There’s still a bit of volume toward the top and center of the blade, which adds forgiveness in softer wave sections or choppy conditions. This is an outstanding paddle for a complete surf experience.

Ergonomic T-handle

It allows great precision in the paddle’s movement both in and out of the water. The exit from the water is clean because your top hand perfectly controls the blade angle. The ergonomics are discreet and effective, with no bulky shapes. Pressure on the palm is forgiving and well distributed.

Round shaft

The shaft is round with an outer diameter of 29 mm. Made of full carbon, it offers optimal responsiveness while maintaining a good balance between stiffness for precise surfing and flex for comfortable paddling during sporty cruising. In other words, it’s not a stiff pole ;-) It still feels smooth, even though it’s light and lively.

Paddle Dimensions:

The maximum length of this paddle is 220 cm. It is available in two cutting options:

Handle not glued, to be cut and glued by yourself in order to adjust it exactly to the size you want. We recommend using two-component epoxy glue (not included) to glue the handle.
Cut and glued by us to your size (with an extra charge of €20). Note that this operation significantly increases the delivery time.

In SUP surfing, the ideal paddle length is generally between your height and up to 10 cm above. If you use a small board, it is recommended to choose a shorter paddle. On the other hand, with a larger board, like an NFA, you can choose a slightly longer paddle, 5 to 10 cm longer than your height.

A shorter paddle has several advantages:

It allows for tighter turns, as the length directly affects the turning radius.
It helps lower your center of gravity, which improves stability and balance.
It promotes a higher stroke rate, which is particularly useful for successfully performing the take-off (wave catching).

In cruising mode, the paddle is generally set to about +15 cm above your height. This length can vary depending on two factors:

The thickness of your board, which influences your height on the water.
The type of outing planned, meaning the intensity and duration.

For example:

During a long trip on calm water, a slightly longer paddle is preferred. It allows you to paddle with more amplitude while maintaining an upright, comfortable posture over time.
Conversely, for a shorter or more dynamic outing (sporty paddle), a slightly shorter paddle is recommended. It facilitates a faster paddling rhythm, with less amplitude but higher frequency.

In racing, the paddle length is generally between +10 and +20 cm above your height. This setting mainly depends on two factors:

The type of race or effort planned (sprint, long distance, training, etc.).
The thickness of the board, which influences your position on the water.

In practice, the majority of racers choose an average length of about +17 to +18 cm. This size offers a good balance between power, stroke length, and efficiency over time.
