THE WING

The Plus will make you progress faster than any wing. But it is much more than a beginner’s wing: it is the most versatile wing out there.

Its power at the heart of the profile allows you to fly within two pumping strokes and discover wing foiling without having to be overpowered. Pumping is made more simple as the PLUS has a reduced wingspan. This translates to an easy progression, with confidence, in a pleasant wind range.

Its featherweight allows you to go for one long session after another comfortably and to make your maneuvers very easily. You will progress quickly.

Its perfect balance positions it very naturally in the wind and allows you to find the right course immediately. It’s almost on autopilot!

THE FOIL

The front wing

The Curve is a front wing with a true surfy feel made for linking turns together thanks to its instinctive rail to rail.

Unlike a Fluid which favors quick snaps off the lip or a solid slash, the Curve is a front wing with drive. It easily enters the curve and holds the line no matter what. It’s great in surfing because you can really lean into your turns. It’s also great when you’re not sure-footed yet: the Curve will erase / absorb your mistakes. It offers a lot of confidence and will boost progression on all classic maneuvers. We have a lot of tolerance and margins.

The stab

The Curve stab offers the best blend of ease, control and maneuverability.

It is the perfect stab for foilers looking for maximum performance in curves. This is what this stab is all about, it is both maneuverable at low speed and super stable in long curves at high speed. It’s behavior is very healthy thanks to a grip that acts to keep the foil on its trajectory.

The mast

Perfect for getting started and progressing, it’s also the most economical option to start foiling. An aluminum mast will require more maintenance than a carbon mast, but it is fully removable, making it easy to store, transport and maintain. Aluminum is also very resistant and does not fear shocks.

The deep foil bag

This is the ideal bag for carefully storing all the parts of your foil. Its clever design allows flexible storage for your entire quiver.

It contains three padded compartments (for 2 front wings and a mast with its top plate or 3 front wings), a specific pocket for the stabs, a small specific pocket for a fuselage and another one dedicated to the screws.

For whom?

Beginners to advanced riders who want equipment that excels wherever it’s called upon. This pack really adapts to all conditions, and is clearly the most versatile combo in the range.

For what?

This is clearly the pack to do it all, whether you’re cruising, surfing or jumping… The versatility of this equipment is exceptional, and its ease of use will make you a happy rider!

The Mint FSP 2X

The Mint is a high-performance wing board. However, by playing with volumes, you can adapt it to your needs:

Comfort

You can select a volume large enough to float, which is your weight +10 = volume

Example: I weigh 75kg + 10 = 85L to float. This means that with 85L I’ll be all good as long as I have a good wing level.

Sport

You can also sub-liter to gain in responsiveness. If you have a good level and want maximum responsiveness, you can switch to negative volumes, by which we mean weight > volume.

Up to your weight -15 = volume you can start easily on your knees while leaning on your wing.

Example: I weigh 75kg = 75L to slightly sub-liter. This means that with 70L my board will sink lightly and I will have to be precise and sporty at each start.

In competition, our Pro Team are on boards that have volumes of 10L and 15L below their weight. To date, this is the compromise that offers them the most performance because it boosts responsiveness and secures landings.

Example 2: I weigh 75kg and I take 65L to sub-liter without switching to a pure sinker. Which means that with 65L my board will partially sink when stopped and I will have to be very precise and sporty each time I start.

Sinker

At your weight – 30 = volume, you will have to start by sinking the board: it’s technical, very physical, and you lose part of the low wind range. And above all: you need depth, which can be annoying. The performance gain is debatable depending on your level, but the gain in sensations and responsiveness is interesting for some. It is also the best way to have light equipment, which is essential for the pros and especially for the biggest riders.

Example: I weigh 75kg – 30 = 45L to use my board as a Sinker. Which means that with 65L and less, my board will completely sink and I will have to start with the help of the wing to get out of the water. In this case, less volume often makes things easier because we sink the board with ease. This makes it easier to place our feet on the deck or in the straps and climb on it. A small board won’t pop out as a cork, therefore easier to make it sink but not as quick to take off. Its stability qualities when on the surface remain the same underwater.

In the end, the most unstable volume is often around 20L less than your weight.

The Wing Plus

Don’t overestimate the power of wings. The reality is that for a 85kg winger, you need 15/20 knots with a 5m² to fly to get flying the first few times. After about 15 sessions, you will fly at 15 knots with a 5m².

And if you’re athletic, pumping hard can make you take off at 12 knots in 5m² and hold the flight through 8 knots lulls. All this can be learned and requires practice.

The Curve Front Wing

The Curve wings can fit riders of all sizes.

The S has a wingspan of 74 cm, 800 cm², 1.6 cm thick for a volume of 0.66L.

In surf foiling, it is a small wing which will suit light riders with a very good technical level. It can also be used in tow-in in moderate waves.
For winging, it will suit light riders with a very good technical level or in strong winds.
In kite foiling, it is a reference wing, it takes off easily, excels in carving, while having an excellent top speed. It will be perfect for a confirmed kite foiler who is looking for a wing to go out in all conditions.

The M has a wingspan of 83 cm, 1000 cm², 1.8 cm thick for a volume of 0.93 L.

In surf foiling, it is a wing that will be perfect for light riders, or for larger riders of good level in powerful waves.
For winging, it is a relatively small wing, but which will suit light riders with a good level, or larger riders with a good level who will take it out in strong wind and wave conditions.
In kite foiling: This is a large kite for beginners who want to sail at low speed under canopy. It should be reserved for those weighing over 85kg.

The L has a wingspan of 90 cm, 1200 cm², 1.9 cm thick for a volume of 1.21L.

In surf foil, it will be a central front wing in the quiver of a good surf foiler.
For winging, the lightweights with a good level will make it their light wind front wing. It is also a key wing for downwinders.
In kite foiling: to forget, it’s too big.

The XL has a wingspan of 98 cm, 1400 cm², 2.1 cm thick for a volume of 1.54 L.

In surf foiling, it will be a perfect wing for a good surfer in small surf conditions, and a central front wing for large riders of a good level.
For winging, the big guys will make it their downwind front wing.
In kite foiling: to forget, it’s too big.

The XXL has a wingspan of 104 cm, 1600 cm², 2.2 cm thick for a volume of 1.86 L.

In surf foiling, it is a very large front wing which will be perfect for heavy riders, it is a perfect wing for dock starts too.
In wing foiling, it is a very good light wind wing which will be perfect for heavy riders, ideal for downwinders in light conditions.
In kite foiling: to forget, it’s too big.

General: a bigger front wing will be used in low ranges, in soft conditions. And conversely a smaller front wing in stronger conditions. What you need to remember is that the choice of your wing depends on your size, which requires lift, and your average speed, which generates lift.

The Curve Stab

The Curve stabs are quite simple to use despite their important aspect ratio. Choose the size you usually like from GONG.

Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing for a balanced flight.

The 36 cm in wingspan, 180 cm², 0.57 cm thick for a volume of 0.06 L

In surf foiling, it is a stab for very light surfers or for powerful waves.
In winging, it means sacrificing the low end a bit, but in high end it allows you to accelerate hard and in control.
In kite foiling, it’s great for going fast and keeping control at high speed.

The 39 cm in wingspan, 225 cm², 0.63 cm thick for a volume of 0.08 L.

In surf foiling, it is a small stab for very light surfers of a good level.
In winging, it’s small but perfect for riders of an advanced level looking for versatility and a great low end.
In kite foiling, it’s a key stab for a lot of riders who want a mix of good top speed and maneuverability.

The 43 cm in wingspan, 275 cm², 0.69 cm thick for a volume of 0.10L.

In surf foiling, it is a stab that will suit the majority of medium-sized foilers.
In winging, it’s perfect for resourceful riders looking for versatility with a very good low range.
In kite foiling, it is a great stab for heavy riders.

The 46 cm in wingspan, 315 cm², 0.74 cm thick for a volume of 0.13L.

In surf foiling, it is a great stab for heavy foilers.
In winging, it is a great stab for the heavy foilers.
In kite foiling: pointless, it’s too big.

The Alu Mast v2

Choice of : 75cm, 85cm or 95cm for wing practice.

75cm is the ideal size for tacking for the first time.
85cm the standard size for maximum versatility, moves and surfing.
95cm perfect for freeride/freerace.

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

More infos

Warning:

The practice of the sport Foil may expose you to serious injury. A poor mastering of Foil may lead to cut, serious injury and/or including death for you and/or others.

Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.

Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.

Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.

Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.

When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.
