The playful freestyle kitefoil board for sending trick after trick over short distances.
Presentation
The Rumble was developed for modern, condensed, and explosive freestyle kitefoil sessions. An alternative to the extremes of racing and big air, it opens a new path: that of compact, intense, and accessible freestyle practice, directly inspired by wing foiling.
It’s built for intermediate to expert riders who want to stack tricks, unleash creativity, and ride hard in a tight zone, without paying for it with a long swim when the wind dies.
Ultra compact for maximum agility and aerial freestyle.
Ultra forgiving thanks to its pronounced rocker and refined hull that forgive mistakes and make pop/repop easier.
Ultra strong and light with its 100% HDCC carbon construction, to handle landings, repeat maneuvers, and chain sessions without compromise.
On the water, the Rumble provides an immediate feeling of ease: mistakes vanish, landings are soft, and every push translates into explosive relaunch. You ride in a limited zone, linking varied tricks and intense maneuvers without wasting time.
In the air, its compactness makes it almost invisible. Rotations and grabs flow naturally, with responsiveness that turns every jump into a precision game. Paired with lightweight Aramid kites and compact freestyle foils (with an 85 cm mast), it delivers a hyper-modern, fun, and high-performance setup in light to medium winds (8–20 knots).
The 100% carbon HDCC construction with integrated boxes gives the Rumble extreme rigidity and maximum solidity. Foot/foil contact is direct, precise, and instinctive. Every impulse is transmitted without loss, amplifying sensations and creativity.
Result:
A board that reinvents freestyle kite foiling.
A modern, playful, and spectacular riding style.
A concentrated, safe, and addictive practice.
The Rumble isn’t for chickens! It’s a KFC ride: Kitefoil Freestyle Compact. A concentrated, radical, and instantly fun riding style.
It comes in a single size of 3'8 with 10.5L volume. Once you have the level to ride a Rumble, volume doesn’t matter much.
Note that this size is ideal for traveling, a major advantage when you like to travel light. A Rumble with two Strutless kites and you’ve got the lightest possible quiver.
Outline
Its outline is very rounded at the nose. Its widely beveled rails are thin and soft. Combined with its compactness, these features allow you aggressive leaning angles and incisive turns while minimizing touchdowns. Endless carves await you.

Rocker
The Rumble’s pronounced nose rocker makes repops easier and ensures soft, clean landings. It guarantees you to keep going without worrying about chop or touchdowns when linking tricks.

Nose
Large rounded square nose for more front-foot surface, with a pronounced double concave underneath that helps manage chop contacts even with important leaning angle. It also provides extra rigidity.

Tail
Rounded square tail, narrower than the nose, to plane immediately and maintain control in chop without losing speed in case of touchdowns.

Hull
Hull with wide bevels, flat at the tail, then a deep double concave for better touchdown control.

Rails
The rails are thin and soft, but with a discreet sidewall that optimizes rigidity and impact resistance.

The HDCC revolution
Resistance and Durability:
High temperature molding provides a better bond between fibers and resin, increasing mechanical strength and durability under high stresses. The mechanical properties of the board remain stable even when exposed to high temperatures.
Lightness and responsiveness:
The full carbon prepreg lamination allows homogeneous and optimized distribution of the resin. All excess weight is removed without compromising strength. The boards are thus lighter and more efficient.
Precision:
Molds allow parts to be manufactured with ultra-precise tolerances. This improves the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of the products.
High Density foam blank:
The foam blank used is an extremely expensive and efficient hydrophobic material used in aeronautics. It provides exceptional structural rigidity and longevity while maintaining a light weight.
Zero waste:
Unlike manual lamination which can result in excess resin and fiber, in-molded manufacturing optimizes material usage, minimizing waste and reducing the environmental footprint of production.
Low price:
The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.
HDCC Technology
These boards have the high-performance HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) technology. The manufacturing process is akin to that of a foil wing. The board is manufactured from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber and a high-density foam core with mechanical properties that ensure structural cohesion and hydrophobicity in case of damage.
In a nutshell, it’s strong, stiff, and very lightweight
Industry-standard prepreg carbon fibers are positioned on the high-density foam core. Carbon H-stringers and full prepreg boxes are also placed before compression in a steel mold heated to 155°C to polymerize the resin. Mold pressure combined with high temperature ensures perfect layer cohesion to guarantee exemplary performance and durability.
Subsequently, the board is extracted from the mold. Board logos are applied. A thin layer of matte varnish is then applied to protect the board. The pad is glued, and the board is ready to ride!
This technology involves no sanding, hence no production waste. There's no sanding of the shape as it's molded, no sanding of the laminations which are pressed and fused, and no sanding of the hot coats which are integrated directly into the molding process. It's extremely costly to implement but the result is impeccably clean.
All our prototyping phases are tested on our own test benches. HDCC boards easily pass resistance tests with loads exceeding several hundred kilograms on the front foot.
The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.
At GONG, our boards are top-of-the-line. Our competitive pricing is only possible due to direct sales, which eliminate intermediary markups. If, unfortunately, you break them, they are fully repairable with components we keep in stock for your favourite shape.

Buying guide
For whom?
Riding strapless or strapped on such a compact kitefoil board requires perfect mastery of flight and maneuvers. It’s therefore aimed at advanced to expert riders.
For pumping, the Rumble HDCC is brilliant whether you’re a beginner or an expert.
For what?
If you want to link tacks, jibes, big jumps, kite loops, and other tricks on an easy and forgiving pocket board, the Rumble is for you.
If you’re looking for the ideal dockstart pumping board that also works in kite foiling, look no further. The Rumble is perfect for both practices.
And if you like traveling light, it’s the ideal board.

What is the ideal foil?
The Rumble will work perfectly in kite with our foils, especially:
Curve H V3 (XXS, XS & S) for easy freeride allround mode.
Fluid H V3 (3XS, XXS, XS & S) and Veloce H V3 (XS & S) for more glide speed and maneuverability.
Ypra Surf-Freestyle (XXS, XS & S) to go airborne in freestyle.
For speed lovers: Ypra Slalom (XXS & XS) or Ypra Race (430 & 480).
For the pro-rider setup: Ypra Surf-Freestyle XS front wing + Ypra Slalom XS stab.
Generally, you’ll prefer very small-surface stabs like the Fluid-H XS. You can also go with Freestyle stabs for their shorter fuselage, which increases responsiveness by reducing turn radius.
Or, conversely, choose the “easy performance” option with a small Curve-H stab.
The ultimate setup is upgrading the foil with a carbon mast from 85 cm to 107 cm depending on your preferences and practice.
And for pumping?
All giant wings, Trail, Sirus, Ultra Trail, are perfect with an HM70 or HM77 mast.
What is the ideal kite?
The Rumble HDCC is fabulous with a Strutless for performance in winds under 20 knots. This kite is close to a race kite in its abilities, but with the safety of an inflatable. It flies in almost nothing, goes upwind insanely, and stays maneuverable.
For big air and kiteloops, the Rumble will find its perfect combo with Vertigo, Ayto, and Ayto DP. Your gear has infinite possibilities, now it’s up to you to push your limits.
The Rumble also pairs beautifully with the Unik, which adds great maneuverability for linking turns, for example.

Equipments
Full Deckpad
The Rumble HDCC comes with our new 5mm thick Ridge Traction pad. The grooved surface design ensures excellent grip. The pad is one continuous piece that covers the entire top surface, so there's no need to wax your board. It also eliminates small angles that could peel off over time.

US double-entry box system
Need to switch between kitefoil and beachstart sessions? Double-entry US rails and SCS nuts for foil attachment let you change masts in 2 turns of the key.
With the SCS nuts* connected by the composite rods, the nuts on the top plate are automatically perfectly set. You just need to position the top plate over the 4 entries, insert the nuts all at once, slide the foil back to the chosen position and in two turns of the key per screw the foil is mounted. The GONG double entry box facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the foil!
Performance without the hassle. When dismantling the foil, you can leave the nuts and the screws on the top plate, just loosen the screws, remove the foil and off you go!
It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments
