Foil Front Wing Pro Fluid H V2 - XXL Second Hand 12334
Program
The wings for endless flights.
Introduction
The Fluid-H Front Wing is designed for endless and effortless flights. This very high ratio version of the Fluid allows access to higher speed ranges without compromising what makes the magic of the Fluid: the smooth glide, a very healthy lift and nice carves. This wing offers an incredible glide when launched. Its slenderness translates into a delicious glide. You will be shocked to feel how fast it flies between two pumping strokes. It flies in rhythm with the softest to the most consistent swells, and allows endless glide during downwinders.
It maintains a strong lift at low speed thanks to its very hollow intrados. This is the crucial point of the Fluid: it is radical but it flies very easily. It is not a demanding front wing.
Despite its large wingspan, it retains its agile character in curves. First, because the surface is centered. Its fine tips dive easily into the curve and you can easily switch from one rail to another around the central volume. Kind of like a board with a V-shaped hull and very thin rails. Then, because its leading edge is rounded, it attacks the water gradually and the wing switches very naturally from one weight distribution to another. Finally because the rail to rail is facilitated by the upwards camber of the tips.
More versatile and easier than the Veloce-H, this front wing will delight lovers of pure glide while retaining the maneuverability specific to the surfing foils of the Fluid range. In wing foiling these Fluid front wings in sizes XS-H, S-H, M-H, L-H, XL-H, XXL-H offer a very high level of performance, with smooth but demanding shapes that will require finesse in piloting and a good physical condition for the rider to take off. A great option after having covered the range of performance offered by a Fluid-T or a Veloce-T. The Fluid-H is sailed in glide and accelerations, even in light winds. This glide specific to high-ratio wings will delight all downwinds and endless freefly enthusiasts. It also does wonders when heading upwind, even when totally underpowered. And in small sizes, the pop is just amazing. Satellization mode guaranteed!!!
In very light conditions and in pumping, the 3XL-H and 4XL-H sizes are faster than a Sirus or a Curve H. This allows you to maintain substantial lift thanks to its high speed while covering long distances without losing flight in lulls or exhaust yourself pumping. Of course, the Fluid H is also slightly more technical and will also stall more easily, but once you get used to it it is a machine to fly to infinity while remaining very maneuverable! And maneuverability is a key to performance for good level foilers who will optimize and correct their trajectories if needed.

Buying guide
For whom?
It is a front wing for experienced riders who want to switch to an even purer glide.
- In surf foiling, you must have a good level to tame this technical front wing. Surprisingly simple to take off, but it requires good technical skills to maintain a clean pumping at high speed and to pilot it in the curves with its high ratio wingspan.
- In wing foiling, you must have a good level to take off early on this technical wing and master the higher speed of the foil. The tips can come out of the water for some fresh air, so you need a good level because it’s only an asset if you can master it, otherwise it’s a disaster ?
- In kite foiling, ditto, you must have a good level to accept and master the higher speed of the foil and the greater wingspan of these stretched wings.
In summary, you need good technical skills to take advantage of this front wing. The small sizes are obviously easier to manage than the very large ones which are harder to move around.
For what?
This front wing is clearly made for gliding and finesse.
With a profile that is tolerant at low speeds, it is the simplest high ratio in the range. Which does not mean the least effective, quite the contrary: it is formidable with its pop, its high quality grip and its handling.
- In surf foiling, it is clearly the ultimate weapon to return to the peak in effortless pumping with a wing that doesn’t need to be at mach 12 all the time.
- In wing foiling, it is a front wing which excels in a fast and playful drive, and which likes beautiful curves in amplitude. A pro will love it in freestyle for its huge pop.
- In kite foiling, it is the turbo you want without sacrificing surfing and tricks.

What size ?

Small wings are suitable for higher speeds and large ones for lower speeds. The criteria of choice is therefore not only the size of the foiler.
The XS-H has a wingspan of 72 cm, 600 cm2, 0.94 cm thick for a volume of 0.26L.
- In surf foiling, it is a very small wing for the pros, the lightweights and tow-in surfing. It’s super fast with a manageable lift to stay in control in hollow sections.
- In wing foiling, it is very small but perfect for a light and very good level rider in strong winds.
- In kite foiling, it is a small wing for a good level rider. Pay attention to the wingspan which often borders on the surface.
The S-H has a wingspan of 82 cm, 800 cm2, 1.1 cm thick for a volume of 0.39L.
- In surf foiling, it is a very small wing for the pros, the lightweights and tow-in surfing. It’s fast with good lift to get through soft sections and stay in control in hollow sections.
- In wing foiling, it is small but perfect for a good level rider in strong winds.
- In kite foiling, it is an interesting size but the wingspan can be a problem to manage.
The M-H has a wingspan of 92 cm, 1000 cm2, 1.2 cm thick for a volume of 0.54L.
- In surf foiling, it is an intermediate wing which is suitable for light builds to surf long, sometimes hollow waves and be able to return to the peak easy!
- In SUP foiling, it is reserved for downwinders on good swell formed for medium sized foilers or for hollow waves.
- In wing foiling, it is the wing to use in 80% of sessions for a light rider in average winds.
- In kite foiling, it’s too wide so not suitable in this size or above.
The L-H has a wingspan of 102 cm, 1250 cm2, 1.3 cm thick for a volume of 0.74L.
- In surf foiling, it is an intermediate wing which is suitable for riders of an average weight to surf long waves and be able to return to the peak without running out of steam!
- In SUP foiling, it is an excellent lift/top speed compromise to make the most of the power of the swell.
- In wing foiling, it is the wing to use in 80% of sessions for an average sized rider.
- In kite foiling, it’s too wide. To forget.
The XL-H has a wingspan of 112 cm, 1500 cm2, 1.5 cm thick for a volume of 0.98L.
- In surf foiling, it is a large wing which is suitable for big riders in dock/beach starts, and which works well in pumping. Its wingspan is impressive in curves, so it should be used in very soft waves.
- In SUP foiling, it is a key size for downwinders, its glide, maneuverability and top speed make it the perfect compromise for exploiting bumps.
- In wing foiling, this size is very large. To be used in light conditions.
- In kite foiling, it’s too wide. To forget.
The XXL-H has a wingspan of 122 cm, 1750 cm2, 1.6 cm thick for a volume of 1.27L.
- In surf foiling, it is a giant wing which is suitable for strong people in dock/beach starts, and which is dedicated to easy pumping. You can do 120kg and cross great distances in pumping without vomiting. It is a wing limited for surfing due to its wingspan which will overtake you in curves, and which must therefore be used in soft waves with a “longboard” type of drive.
- In SUP foiling, it’s great for small downwinders and in the small surf without excessive power.
- In wing foiling, this size is very big. To be used in light/asthmatic conditions and for inland water bodies for example.
- In kite foiling, it’s too wide. To forget.
The 3XL-H has a wingspan of 152 cm, 2200 cm2, 2.0 cm thick for a volume of 2.23L.
- In surf foiling, it’s too big. To be used only for pumping sessions to cover long distances with an efficient and fast front wing.
- In SUP foiling, it is more technical to take off paddling on the flat than a Curve H or a Sirus, but once in flight, it is supersonic!
- In wing foiling, it is a wing for ultra light wind conditions. When combined with a board that glides like the Cruzader you’re the only one flying in super marginal conditions while still enjoying great maneuverability! You don’t even feel the wingspan, it’s so reactive.
The 4XL-H has a wingspan of 182 cm, 2600 cm2, 2.0 cm thick for a volume of 2.66L.
- In surf foiling, it’s too big. To be used only by big foilers for pumping sessions to cover long distances with an efficient and fast front wing.
- In SUP foiling, it’s very big, perfect for taking off paddling on the flat then covering great distances using a very efficient pumping technique.
- In wing foiling, it is a wing for ultra light wind conditions and big riders. When combined with a board that glides like the Cruzader you’re the only one flying in super marginal conditions while still enjoying great maneuverability!
A bigger wing will be used in low ranges, soft conditions. And conversely a smaller wing in tough conditions. What you need to remember is that the choice of your wing depends on your size, which requires lift, and your average speed, which generates lift.
On downwinders, we tend to think that bigger is more efficient. There’s obviously more to it, but yes it is often the rule.
In pumping from dock start or beach start, we recommend the wings as follows:
- La XS-H, la S-H, M-H , la L-H : forget. There’s no point.
- La XL-H : less than 85kg.
- La XXL-H : above 85kg or to set the stopwatch buzzing.
In DW, we tend to think that the biggest is the most efficient. That’s only true to some extent, but it is often the case.
Understand our foil range

Which stab?
We recommend using Fluid H stabs when flying a Fluid H front wing. Use stabs that have some surface area because the H stabilizers remain thin.
This table allows you to easily identify which stab for which front wing, or which stab for a quiver of several Fluid H front wings.
For larger sizes (3XL-H and 4XL-H), we also recommend using the Sirus stab, which boosts efficiency in low-power disciplines (small waves, light wind, etc.). If you’re looking for pumping efficiency, prefer it in moderate sizes (40 to 50) for their reactivity in pitch. When looking for speed, prefer it in large sizes (50 to 63) to more easily keep the foil towards the surface after acceleration.

Quiver partners ?
With a Fluid H, you really have to consider switching to an HM carbon mast. The gain in stiffness and dynamism is incredible. On the large sizes (3XL and 4XL), it is essential to exploit their potential, the additional stiffness of the mast makes it possible to absorb the errors of support. The HM72 mast perfectly meets this need for rigidity.
The stress on the fuselage when pumping is not as extreme as the one of landing a jump in wing foiling for example, but it generates material fatigue with the constant repetition of the effort over long periods. For this, we strongly recommend using our Titanium Pro fuselage for your pumping sessions. The heavier you are and the larger your front wing, the more essential it is.
The Fluid H wing is ideal with technical boards in a noble construction such as the FSP PRO boards. The smaller the board, the more you can exploit the potential of this front wing.
The stab must also be technical: thin and fast.
The mast must be rigid. And all the more so if your stance isn’t perfect.
Positioning of the foil ?
For the GONG foils, place the top plate at the rear third of the US rails for surf, SUP and kite. Place it in the middle of the US rails when using it with a wing foil.
The more you move it forward, the more it makes the board pitch up. The further you move it backwards, the more the nose of the board dives.
Be careful not to move it too far forward. We often tend to forget to use the back foot, especially when we have a kite foil background. However, moving the foil back a little forces you to put more weight on the back foot and gives a more harmonious attitude and reduces effort.
Equipments
Screws not included, your needs are :
Our front wing – fuselage connection works with three screws for the majority of sizes:
- 1 T30 M6 X 20 MM TORX SCREW (front screw)
- 1 T30 M6 X 16 MM TORX SCREW (rear screw)
- 1 T30 M6 X 12 MM TORX SCREW (top locking screw)

For the most extreme sizes (XXXL & 4XL) the fuselage connection is reinforced to increase the durability of your front wing. The screws are thus a few millimeters longer:
- 1 T30 M6 X 25 MM TORX SCREW (front screw)
- 1 T30 M6 X 20 MM TORX SCREW (rear screw)
- 1 T30 M6 X 16 MM TORX SCREW (top locking screw)

Our front wings are delivered in quality, durable and aesthetic packaging that can be used for storage at home and even in the car, to get to the spot without damaging them.
If the cardboard takes up too much space, you can also equip yourself with a GONG FOIL COVER FOR HIGH ASPECT FRONT WING in high quality material. They are great for travel, or when you want to take a lot of gear to the spot!

Warning :
