The Matata Surf Foil are a reference in the world of surf foil for their length/volume ratio coupled with their performance.
The custom boards created in our workshop are true objects of art. We put all our know-how into the design of these exceptional objects, both noble and high-performance, for a unique sliding experience.
The LIGHT FSP PRO CUSTOM construction allows for an even lighter board while preserving a solid deck and direct sensations with the foil.
Inspired by Matata Surf, our shape dedicated to soft waves, the Matata Surf Foil maximizes mediocre conditions. In these sessions, what matters is not having a big board to drop from afar because we often drop into a foam; but it is to pump as efficiently as possible to connect as many waves as possible and add up the moves per take off.
With its tiny size, the Matata has no inertia in front of your foot. It’s really a micro board with volume. You pump in direct connection with the foil, almost as if the board did not exist.
Its particularly complex hull optimizes the flow before flight to boost this very compact shape and give it the glide of a large board. Its volume with a sophisticated distribution is nevertheless classically placed in the board with the essentials between your feet and a super thin nose.
